I had waist-length hair for a few years and I've got the straight stereotypical asian hair. Barely had to brush it in the mornings, it didn't tangle etc. But it took forever to dry when I'd wash it and it went a bit frizzy that day (and would settle down for the second day) and I usually tied it up to get it out of my way.

I've got shoulder length hair now and I've had it even shorter and very layered before as well and it's so much easier and lighter. I miss my long hair sometimes (and I miss curling it most of all), but I definitely prefer having short hair :D
