Do the people who whine about fandom RPF know about, for instance, all those celeb sex fantasy sites which are full of really shitty sex stories about female celebs written by dudes? (like c-s-s-a.com) Seriously it's like fan fiction from 13-year-olds. I'd wager celebrities know about these things, since they're like the next best thing to celeb porn star look-alikes. And I'm pretty sure celebrities are aware that like hundreds of thousands of people fantasize about them. What I'm trying to say is, I think famous people are pretty ok with this stuff, and "this stuff" isn't just done by girls in slash fandoms, it's all over the place.

omg you made me remember, the other time while I was tumblring lol I found a link to "chris hemsworth cock" (yes I'm ashamed that I even clicked on that but this is tumblr okay?) and the link lead you to a website where you could see a bunch of famous a list actors or tv shows actors in manips naked "exposing" their penises (obviously not their bodies) and you can subscribe and shit I was so surprised because I expected this from fangirls over lj and whatnot but actually a site dedicated to that I mean it was so shocking WHAT ARE WE DOING????? using actors like, like they were objects, and I can't I just WHAT EVEN???? they are real people for the love of god, it makes me feel bad about even reading RPF what if they knew of that site? I always feel sorriest for the porn stars. They have their heads covered up by some stupid celebrity. It just goes to show that they're only appreciated/valued for their genitals, not their faces/identities, even in the context of turning people on.
