Anime hair is super idealized though, it's probably not a good idea to keep torturing yourself by coveting something crazy unrealistic. This is speaking as someone who totally wished growing up that I had the same amount of volume/swish/tameness as anime people. u_u; Granted, I am asian and I'm really happy with my hair now, but I have hair envy with lots of people whose hair I don't actually have but they've only made it glamourous to my eyes.

I think perhaps you should look into hairstyles what would really work for you. I personally think jheri curls are lovely. Curly hair is lovely, but styling does work wonders on it. So try it out some new haircuts, new hair styles, own it and have fun with it!
