I don't read it much, but enjoying RPF is just like enjoying a fantasy to me, personally. I'm also grateful sometimes that I've found other people like me who happen to ship certain people irl, without being incredibly judged by it. It's sharing a fandom, in a sense.

I do have boundries when it comes to RPF, however. I would NOT like to insist that there's a conspiracy to cover up a "relationship" between the two people, nor would I like to insist that they hook up together, they MUST hook up together, have babies and bring it up in conversation to the celebrities in question. That would be so much more intrusive and controlling to me. Speculating harmlessly and letting your imagination get ahead of you in a fanfic while sharing it with other like-minded people is fine, but pushing it into the celebs themselves who have their own lives to live is something else.
