It is in Japan! In that it's popular verbiage taken a bit too far:
If a "vegetarian" is a shy, non-sexually(+romantically) aggressive boy,
a "carnivore" is an outgoing, sexually (+romantically) aggressive boy
Then the extension of this has become:
A "cabbage roll": appears externally to be a "vegetarian" (non-aggressive/submissive) actually a "carnivore" (aggressive)
A "reverse cabbage roll": appears externally to be a "carnivore," actually a "vegetarian."

I should note that the person referenced need not necessarily be a boy.

But yeah, that's a thing. :P
