Yeah, this is the only reason I was upset by the addition of mandatory multiplayer for Mass Effect 3. Thankfully it's no longer mandatory but it wasn't the multiplayer itself I feared or didn't like. It was the people I would have to play with.

Literature and film have turned out products that have outlived the cultures that produced them. Gaming is still a niche. It's still defined at its best by cute things like Angry Birds and at its worst by the assholes who sling homophobic slurs in Call of Duty. You've found seventeen games that aren't sexist? That's great! How many of them are the games that outsiders think of when they think of games? What are you doing to make them think of those games? Why, when the homophobes in Call of Duty are all they see, are you mad at THEM for how they see the culture?

Oh, but they DO have a point.

They have several good points in fact.

It's just that the way they're trying to deliver it (especially in fandom) is completely counter-productive and dare I say harmful to their own cause.

It's basically gotten to a point where they've become a pest in fandom and a lot of people just ignore them by default.

I liked the anime and thought it was a cute little show about an unconventional family growing and learning together. but THAT'S how it ends? How is it NOT creepy for an older guy to raise a little girl and then get together with her once she's of age? Do you not know what fucking child grooming is?

I think our working theory right now is that a combination of the taking control of others (and constantly maintaining control over them) and accessing that power to speak to the Chitauri was particularly draining, but we can't really be sure about it. I figure a loooot of things to do with Loki will be revealed in Thor 2, because (to me at least) it's very, very clear that we didn't even get a sliver of the whole story there.

Yeah, at first I thought: "spoilers! D:", but with how popular it is, I guessed that strangers to the fandom had already seen some (or much) of it, and besides, everything flashes by so quickly that by the time you get to those parts of the story you might not even remember them!

I know what you mean, though despite everything that has happened to and because of Jackson, I still don't think he's that horrible of a guy. Then again, you're probably right that she could do better. I just love them so much together, especially after the finale.

I just want fic of them getting used to be around each other again.

And I did try that, though most fics are Sterek or Derek/someone with a tiny bit of Lydia/Jackon and Scott/Allison in-between. :/

We eat fish three times a week and meat three times a week. The rest of the time, we eat vegetables (fresh or canned) or pasta with ground beef/tuna/tomato sauce, big salads, etc. Usually, just a big plate and a dessert, but no appetizers except on weekends (usually, green olives). I have breakfast, lunch and dinner plus a small snack around 4 p.m. (some biscuits, or buttered bread). I rarely eat soda and drink water, orange juice, milk or syrup with water. I don't really exercise, but I try to walk as much as I can. It's not really a diet per se, I don't feel like I'm forbidding myself to eat. I just eat in reasonable quantities in-keeping with the levels of energy I need. I can eat whatever I want, but I don't overdo it.
