I hate all Nicolas Sparks related items. (Except parts of the soundtrack to A Walk to Remember)

I remember a guy complaining at work about his wife making him watch that movie. And I was like 'Seeeee, my boyfriend will never have to complain about that, cause he would have to get me to sit down and watch it first.'

Agreed! This movie is so obvious about trying to grab your heartstrings that it just ends up being obnoxious.

Also is this the one where he threatens to jump of a Ferris wheel if the girl won't dump her boyfriend and go out with him? Because yeeeeeeah that was skeevy as fuck.

OMG yes that ferris wheel scene! I saw it in the theater with a bunch of girlfriends, and they were all starry-eyed talking about how romantic that was. Meanwhile, I was completely "DO NOT WANT. Kick him in the fucking head and pretend he just fell off the damn thing, DO NOT WANT, CRAZY STALKER!!!!"

Two-thirds of my facebook feed, let me introduce you to it. As someone who's generally very, very traditionally girly, I had a hard time making friends when I was younger who wouldn't immediately say "Omg my favorite movie is either The Notebook or Titanic".
