Tbh, even when I like f_s regulars, I kind of think they're attention-seeking dicks for posting logged in.

Prove that when you think being logged into a site like DW, specifically in FS where being anon is not the norm but an option, makes you a dick is a rational and logical response.

Instead of, you know, what they say and do.

Like, I think you're being a dick right now and purposefully obtuse. I think you're also just spoiling for a fight because you're bored. I think that because of what you've said, even if you're anon you're still a dick. You're not a dick because you're anon though. Get it?

But whatever, I'm a dick too. Not like it's a big deal.

Has it ever occurred to you that some people post logged in because conversations between anons can sometimes get confusing?

So they post logged in because they're idiots?

It really helps if you don't stay on FS constantly. You can get emails saying someone responded to you. You can't when anon.

That is something I miss about being logged in. Does DW let you track individual threads the way you can on lj?

There is a little button that says "track this". I've never used it but I assume it works.

I tried it, and it only allows you to track the entire thread. Not helpful...
And now for some reason I don't even see the button anymore, so maybe as someone said, it's only for paid users.

I thought free users had thread tracking too, something like 5 or 10 threads only. Maybe I remembered wrong.

Personally I just really love icons and being anon would take that away. not a fan tbh.

I think it's more that fs is a semi-anon space. It's not as bad as people who post logged-in to kinkmemes, but it still rubs me the wrong way.

hm, ok. but like you said it's a semi-anon place- there isn't really an obligation to post as one or the other.

I love icons too. I can actually remember people when i can see a default icon over and over, as opposed to the non-iconed anon space.

Icons are the best! I have a folder with about 2000 of them in it. Which is kind of ridiculous because I'm never going to use them all, but I just really like them a lot. And yeah, seeing the same icons over is a very helpful thing.

OMG, me too, i can't stop collecting icons, even though i'm at the max i can have over on LJ.

I want more over here, but can't afford it just yet. ICONS!!

oh cool! They're just so fun to collect. I'm not even sure why, they're very small squares with pictures in them. It's just nice having them all there if you need them, y'know?
