Well, lucky you your stalker actually listened to the restraining order.

My friend's didn't. She had to move 3 times and started keeping a baseball bat near her when she was home because he scared her so bad.

The only reason he stopped stalking her was because he was going to get expelled from the university and forced to leave the country (international student).

Besides that, I find it very odd that you don't trust him to say the truth, but you do trust him not to be violent. I'm not saying they're similar, but if you have to say someone must be lying in order to defend them it's odd to me.

My audience...didn't react that way. I'm pretty sure they "ooh" (men and women both). And I saw it in St. Louis, Missouri, which is in a very red state. Then again, we were voted the 10th Gayest U.S. city, so I don't know what to tell you.

Re: Embroidery! Specifically lace making!

Needle laces built off cording or tape are pretty easy to learn, and very easy to do free form. With the time limit I'd definitely work with purchased yardage of cording/tape, you don't want to be wasting time with the tedium of making your own cord. Searching for "Romanian Point Lace" with Google might be the easiest way to get information on needle laces made with cord, there was a trend for it on Ravelry in the last year or so and that helped get tutorials more visible.

Needle laces without foundations of cord, tape, or fabric to start from... I wouldn't even try in just three weeks. Bobbin lace is right out with that time limit.

If the OP knows how to crochet than Irish crochet/Bruges lace might be adaptable for the project, it is easy to free form, but if the time limit has to include learning to crochet as well as the lace making... not very feasible.

As for learning embroidery stitches, I like this site.

Honestly, as a bi person, I found myself feeling all uncomfortable when the theater all around me was cracking up over "evil gay villian seducing Bond hahah evil gay people" - and then Bond turned it all around with the "What makes you think this is my first time?" bit, and I felt like I, as a queer fangirl, got the last laugh there. Which was a /very nice/ feeling.

Also, it totally fits with my "Bond would do /anyone/" headcanon.

(Also, it works /very nicely/ for the Bloody Big Ship 00Q, so I', not complaining. ;D)

Considering the involvement of House writers on this show, I'm totally expecting a similarly terrible arc like how House eventually fucked up its portrayal of addiction. You know, where the main character had his heart broken by the love of his life and his addiction was his ~way of coping~. House compounded it spending basically a whole season arguing that the character's pain from a genuine disability was really just psychosomatic and cured by magic vagina sex.
