That's a really sucky position to be in. If he's only caught you the one time you could always laugh it off as a joke or maybe pretend you were drunk and looking for something different or someone put you up to it. If it was more than once or you've lost your window of opportunity to give an excuse it's unlikely things will ever really go back to the way they were.

This isn't quite the same thing, but I caught my brother whacking off with my used panties four separate times when we were teenagers and we act civil now, about 10 years later, but things are still strained between us and whenever we meet I always think back to the times I caught him and wonder why he did it (because I sure as hell didn't confront him directly about it).

Okay, OP, there's a chance you invented this (I don't wanna call you a fake or a troll, but we all know how many people make up stories in this place), but I'll give you a chance:

First of all, how close were the two of you? Maybe the easier way is, like some people said, choosing one of the options. Just pretend nothing happened and stay like brothers, or keep desiring him from a distance.
But if you can, you should try talking to him. Would your brother listen? I mean, he doesn't needs to want you in that way, but you two don't need to fuck up your relationship for that reason.
I've been in a similar situation with my younger brother, but in the other side, and, although I've made it quite clear that I don't like him that way, I love him too much to just stop talking or treating him weirdly (not gonna lie, though: it did bothered me at first. Mostly cause he's like a son to me, but anyway). I acknowledge his feeling as I acknowledge the feelings of other people attracted to me (or even in love), and I really think conversation is the best solution WHEN the person is ready to listen to you.

The best argument against RL sibling incest I've seen is that if the romantic relationship goes bad (as romantic relationships are wont to do even when they don't have social mores arrayed against them), you don't just lose a boyfriend, you risk losing your brother, too. Have you tried analyzing why you're attracted to your twin? Is it really him you're attracted to, or is it merely the taboo? Did the con really just awaken these desires, or were they already present but buried?

In the end though, seek counseling. Not because you're crazy or disgusting, but there's most likely more than just a need to get your nut off with thoughts of your brother. If you want to retain the brotherly relationship you have with him, you owe it to not just him but you as well to find the reason(s) for these feelings and the appropriate solution.

Be very careful.
People here are advising telling your brother, and many of them seem to think it might go your way. It might. However, it very well might not. If it doesn't, you risk losing far more than your relationship with your brother. Your entire place within the family could be damaged, or even destroyed, if you come out with this and your brother does not react happily or neutrally.

General opinions against incestuous relationships are harsh, and understandably so from a biological point of view, even though the social aspect is often willfully ignored. People may well view you as threatening. You need to be very sure before you do anything to make this public.
