2. Oh man. I had a similar feeling of apathy towards Avatar myself, too. And then I watched it. Admittedly I didn't think the first season was amazing or anything but it was good enough to keep me interested. Then I watched the second season and honestly, I feel it's probably even better than the vast majority of anime I've seen in the past year.

4, 5, 7, 9. Oh man. More power to all of you because ahaha wow (even if I dropped Who Wants to Be a Superhero this year after Mitzvah got kicked off because aside from maybe Parthenon, nobody's really compelling/hilarious enough to keep my interest). #7, which one did you meet, out of curiosity?

Mister Mitzvah was pretty awesome but I had a feeling he wasn't going to last. Hygena is beginning to bug the crap out of me and so is the Diffuser. But Parthenon, Whip-snap and Hyper-Strike all have my votes. :D

Yeah, it's clearly made by people who love the genre, but want to make their own works. I think there are a lot of bad American-mad cartoons that are trying to ride on the popularity of anime, but Avatar really isn't one of them.

I ship Tamaki/Haruhi and Kyouya/Tamaki with nearly equal enthusiasm, ftr, and Mori/Haruhi is the only other Haruhi pairing I'll accept.

10. How does seeing your first anime on Adult Swim/Toonami/YTV/some other mainstream channel somehow make you a less worthy fan? You're not an idiot 'cause you saw it on TV first instead of going out of your way to buy or rent the series. I hate this mindset. Elitist much?

Parthenon has all the qualities of being a superhero down pat. I mean, during the courier mission he immediately helped that woman look for her daughter. And when their car had been jacked? He did the right thing by helping the package man. Not to mention while being in such a tight spot with deciding who got that second phone-call he was good about it and did what he thought was the right decision. ...plus omfg when he was talking to his boyfriend on the phone I was wibbling. So. Sugary. Sweet.

And Hyper-Strike is badass though I wish Stan had let him keep his giant scarf D:. confident and totally full of energy, he's always ready to lead. Like during the amusement park mission, he and Diffuser totally took charge. Plus he's very warm, funny and easy-going, it seems. Once he sets his mind to it he gets the job done.

Both he and Parthenon are so awesome WHY cAN'T STAN PICK BOTH? D:

13. I didn't think it was funny regardless lulz. The entire efw community just isn't my cup of tea. At one point you have to wonder exactly how witty/intellectual/"above it all" can you seem when everyone around you is so exasperated about something you're all making fun of because it's supposed to be trivial in the first place.

Oh, yeah, the guy couldn't have won but he was hysterical and he kind of got hosed a bit since despite not going on the rollercoaster he was still helpful at the very least. All three of the people you mentioned are the ones who are still in that I like (I kind of loved Mindset just because what the fuck dude, it's SPELLING), especially Parthenon because he didn't get dragged into that high school crap with the SECRET MEETING about Mitzvah.

And Hygena is like Fat Momma for me; yeah, she seems nice and she's competent and all, but the gimmick just kills it for me.

I was a little confused by this secret. There seems to be this implication in it that Tamaki/Haruhi has no chemistry, and when people say that, it makes me want to cry big giant crocodile tears of doom. D: Or, I don't know, maybe I'm assuming things and this person just means a different type of chemistry? Like, less "in your face!" and more subtext-y? MOAR CLARIFICATION PLZ, SECRET 16. :(

(And I thought I was the only one who wasn't smitten with the twins.)

I don't know but Mindset just really bothered me. I know he meant well and all, but still his ego was just a bit too much for me. Mitzvah and Ms Limelight were the ones that I definitely knew weren't going to win along with Mindset and braid. I was sad to Basura go because her comic cover was just jaw-dropping gorgeous.
