Just cause I haven't read past chapter 58 doesn't mean I don't know how to do death note research on the internets, lawl. And since when does it ever matter if a doujin/fanart/fanfic portrays the characters "accurately"...like half the fan-made shit out there is "accurate." And anyway I hear there's hardly anything between mellow and matt in the manga, well unless you're wearing your fangirl gaydar glasses.

N!S: I dunno, loving a character just because everyone else hates them is kind of silly, but if it means you enjoy the series more, then all the more power to you. Whereas hating a character just to be contrary actually decreases your enjoyment of the canon and so...is sort of dumb.

But then, I'm not too fussed about what people's reasons for liking or disliking characters are, so long as they don't try to deny their irrational fangirling or dress up their hatred as Deep And True Reasons This Character Sucks And Everyone Should Hate Her.

25. I've occasionally considered applying there, but I just don't do well on LJ RPs. And I'd probably wind up playing some non-anime character that nobody cared about or wanted to RP with. :'(

Mmmm, you see though, that's what I thought too, until my friend prompted me to join Poly~ You get so damn addicted to it, it's almost a little scary. That place, it eats your soul! I think that as long as your character is at least semi-well known, they should get a good reception there, enough to keep you playing. ^__^

Really, we love everyone who comes to us. There are quite a few non-anime fandoms people play in, as I'm sure you know, and they do well~ I don't see why your character, whoever you might choose to apply [if ever you do], wouldn't be well received either~ ♥ I'd welcome you, at the very least. ♥

2. Not DN related, but I've done it. Sometimes the original characters in a series are the most interesting, and even when you give the new ones a shot- it's just not the same anymore, so you can't enjoy it as much.

25- Well~ If you had a bunch of fun at Poly, and your friends all want to RP with you but you're worried about how much fun you'll have, why not all of you join? ^__^ [Recruitment, whut?] I realize that they've probably got a different community they want to you to play at, so.. you could try to play at both? Make a deal and tell them you'll play with them there if they apply at Poly? XD

6. True, to some degree. However, having spent ten days in Tokyo, I can say that there are a significant amount of attractive people -- seriously, they really did seem to outweigh the ugly people. And less fatties. I saw exactly THREE overweight people and no obese people out of 3577348994i people in my touristy adventures in a giant metropolis.

uhh, omg, totally late addendum comment? No Rest For The Wicked actually has a number of fics and the artist actively encourages her fanbase to participate, actually hosting fic on the main site. but that seems to be the exception rather than the rule.
