Is there any monster out there you can't turn into a cuddly, fluffy, just misunderstood teddy bear? Is anything off limits? Where is my cute, helpless Cenobite?

Plunge the depths of some fanfic archive or another. I'm sure someone has managed it.

...although I just imagine a Cenobite teddy bear would be like a tiny version of the Chatterer Beast from fucking Bloodlines.

...I kind of want a tiny plush Chatterer Beast now, though.

I have a feeling this movie is going to be insufferably tone deaf. (Meaning the balance between comedy/horror/romance with be so far off as to make the film awkward and uncomfortable to watch. See: Zombieland.)

I've never heard of this movie before but if it's as hilarious as I'm thinking then I'm down for it

As a big fan of the book, I'm still holding out hope that this adaptation will be somewhat decent. I don't think the original plot would be filmable in Hollywood--there's way too much metaphor and symbolism--but it doesn't have to be completely butchered, either.

So am I the only one that has no fucking idea what the secret's about? Names please! What's the book called? The film?

Agreeing with thinking it's a bit of a spoof, but I'm interested. It kinda makes me think a bit of I am Legend. The "zombies" aren't dead they're just sick then they start fighting off the virus and becoming sentient again.

Never heard of this but that boy looks like he could be insanely hot if you wash the zombie off him.

I have to admit that movie looks promising. It's got a fun Shaun of the Dead kind of feel to it.

Well, to be fair, this isn't the first teen Zombie romance movie done horror-comedy style. Go watch My Boyfriend's Back. (And, who knows, there could be an earlier example I'm just not aware of.)

I'm kind of looking forward to it, though. It could be awful, but it could also turn out to be interesting. I'm willing to wait and see.
