How did everyone's Monday go? I had to go drop my car off at the repair shop (someone backed up into me in a parking lot!) and get the rental. I HATE the rental and miss my car. :(

I had my six month evaluation at work and now I'm off my probationary period (everyone is initially probationary when they are hired). Aside from having a tardiness problem (I just can't get up in the morning, I need to work on that), I got a shining eval and my supervisor is pleased with me. Looks like I'm gonna get promoted to Claims Assistant as soon as a position opens up in the call center, and with that comes a pay raise, yay!

On Friday I'm flying out to Nashville for a week to visit my family. My oldest sister (they're all younger than me, she's the oldest of them, though) is moving to Chicago the day after I get there. She was going to leave the same day (or the day before?) I arrived but I convinced her to postpone her move so I could actually see her before she moves 1,000 miles away from me, cause who knows when we'll see each other again.

Sucks about the wreck, hopefully it isn't that bad. Someone nicked my car in the parking garage at work but they left a note and I got a check from their insurance company. Do you have to pay for your damage or is the other driver covering it?

Dented rear door and part of the body - could have been worse - fortunately she wasn't going that fast as she was backing out of the space. And insurance has said they're at fault so they're paying for it.

What kind of rental did you get?

Was going to do stuff. Mostly didn't. Way too lazy.

Today was the final inspection for two apartments that we've been working since last April to bring into compliance with the current rental housing code. The inspector found no issues and the letter of compliance will be on its way soon.

Now if I could just get the tenants to stop using the roof as a dump... I'd like to make it nice, with a little garden up there; maybe then people would put trash in the dumpster instead of just dropping it wherever.

There was stuff I was gonna do, but I woke up and it was snowing. Not only do I not have footwear for walking through snow (Vancouver), but it feels like the entire area shuts down when there's snow (Vancouver).

On the bright side, snow!

LOL I remember when Victoria got 4cm of snow and they OPENED THE ARMOURY.

Now I've got this weird nostalgic hit for the Island. Weird because I hated every second of my childhood there.

Ah, west coast.

Being from Winnipeg originally it was particularly amusing to me to see the Vancouver version of snowplows one year--which appeared to basically be pick-ups with large snow shovels duct taped to the front. I nearly died laughing.

Still sick, still bored, still sick of being bored and bored of being sick. Wasted time on tumblr and eating and sleeping.

Goddamn I'm getting a flu shot next time.

Oh yeah and it snowed. Randomly. I think the entire west coast had a bit of a chilly shock today. :p

I got the flu shot and still managed to get the flu. It doesn't always help.

I didn't want to go out this morning but I had to finish a project for class.
But at least when I got back home, my sister was over and we discussed Ohayocon some more! I'm getting really excited.

I'm coming down with a cold for the fifth time this autumn/winter, and I'm really getting tired of it.

Spent the day in bed watching cartoons and reality tv because my brain couldn't handle anything else. Went to the hospital last night, and turns out my flu has turned into pneumonia. So missing even more classes, which is not good, especially right at the beginning of the semester.

Pretty good... woke up, had a couple work tasks waiting in my inbox when I logged in, so I took care of them before 9:30am...

...And spent the rest of my 9 hour work day playing ZOMG on Gaia. XD Didn't mean to, but people kept inviting me to their crew, and someone there was helping me get high enough level to do this one quest, which was fun and got me lots of money and power-up orbs. :D And meanwhile no one had any actual work-related stuff for me to do after I fixed those schedules...

I thought about going to my lecture, but I am slightly sick and we got -24C right about now, so I didn't feel like going outside and freezing half to death.

Other than that, I didn't do much, read some school related articles and tidied my flat.

Today was the first day of the new semester. It rained today and since I always walk or ride my bike to class, I got good and wet several times.

Mondays are going to be killer for me this semester. I work two shifts, the first starting at 7:40 am and then I have two classes, the last ending at 8:10 pm.

Well, at least the early shift means I get to avoid my micromanaging boss for the most part, since he pretty much never comes in before 11:00 am.

Today was my first day back at work since late December. I need to readjust to having to be somewhere for 6-8 hours a day. I had a panic attack about a civil exam that I'm taking in a week and desperately need to study for.

I've had a fairly shabby last few days which has left me in a 24/7 foul fucking mood.

Monday? It's Tuesday already over here. Had a long Monday. One of the kids I teach couldn't go home til 9 and I had to bring her home while we waited for her mum.

AWESOME I just started a new job today and it's going swell. I've worked for the same company in the past so I know almost all the ropes and they're real happy to have me, yays.

I booked my vacation! I can't believe IT'S REAL NOW

It's Tuesday here in Malaysia and I'll be driving my maid to the local market to buy some groceries in 30 minutes time. See you later, F!S !
