My mother might or might not have given me some money which she told me to use for shopping and not serious grown up stuff.

I have several LOTR posters but no Hobbit, but I'd love one.
The Gollum mug sounds awesome! I've never seen any LOTR mugs. :(
You get the extended trilogy on DVD, or Blu-Ray? I bought the DVD versions when they came out and still haven't upgraded yet.
And I'm sure your One Ring is beautiful. I hope the first thing you did upon buying it was hug it tightly and call it precious.

It's got Gandalf on it, it wasn't what I wanted actually. I wanted a LoTR poster and an Harry Potter poster to put beside my Game of Thrones poster (which I still aren't sure why I own), but I didn't find what I was looking for so I just bought two different ones (It was a Harry Potter one, but I only found the Maurauders Map thing, not a movie poster) .
The Gollum mug is awesome! And I would post a picture if I knew how.
DVD, I don't own a blue-ray player... (Nor do my television have the correct cable thing - yes I live in the stone ages)
It is beautiful (no shiny writing though), I would have: but I was on the train station. I was playing with it though.

And Gandalf is badass! I'd probably want one of Bilbo with the door to Bag End open, if those exist. Or one of the Bilbo ones that were given out at the first showings. Do you not like Game of Thrones that much, or maybe you fell out of love with it? I've never watched it, and I'm never quite sure if I want to or not. (Also, the Maurauders Map is pretty neat, but I understand your want for a movie poster. I generally like those best too.)
No biggie! I might google it.
The only TV in our house that is HDMI ready is mine, so I feel you. We tend to keep electronics as long as we possibly can. They're expensive, yo.

He is! I want a Pippin and Merry one actually! But that will probably be impossible to find.
I actually inherited my television when my great uncle (or something) died. It is a flat screen television, but not widescrean.
It came with a chain so yeah, I have it on right now. IT IS AWESOME!

Sometimes I watch TV on my phone with Netflix, so while I know that can be frustrating, at least the picture is usually quite clear? I hope you can upgrade one day, if you want to.
Ahahaha, I like Gollum too, but I don't think I want him attacking my face. IT HURTS PRECIOUSSSSSSSS.
(You told me we were friends because I'd posted some gifs. I really like to post gifs, too. [Are you seeing a pattern?] However, you talked Tolkien a lot the other day with someone else. That said, I feel we do talk a fair bit, but not this long.)

My television is okay, I watch most stuff on my laptop anyway so it really isn't a biggie. I only play on the super Nintendo and turn on the TV once in a while... If I buy a new television it will get registered in my name and then I got to pay TV License (which is expensive for a broke student)
I would give him the ring, just to see a smile on his face...
(Oh right, I did. Yeah I was, and I think you got a userpic that is the exact same as someone else. We have talked some lately haven't we? When I jumped on the JRR Tolkien bandwagon we got some more in common I guess?)

TV License? Is it a monthly fee? It's probably called something else over here. Either way, that sucks. :( (But yay for laptops and SNES! Your mention of SNES brings back memories.)
lmao, Middle Earth would be in so much trouble... But at least Gollum would be happy, I guess.
(Yep! elephantinegrace is using a Kili icon I made so that might've made things a bit confusing. Usually you don't see the same icon more than once in this comm. And I suppose so. I've found Tolkien really brings people together!)

You are American? Then you don't pay it. It is a yearly fee we pay to cover the State Television and Radio channels... (SNES is awesome! I got Super Mario 3 on it!)

(Haha, sorry about that! If you ever run into that issue again you'll probably realize the mistake; I don't really update my journal, and she must. Our names both start with e too, so I guess that doesn't exactly help.)
