Two shirts from Hot Topic.

Probably lunch yesterday. But the last physical thing I acquired (delayed on account of online shopping) was an Arduino Wifi shield that arrived yesterday. So I spend most of last night figuring out how to get my board to talk to the internets. And now I can turn on an LED via my smartphone from anywhere. Which made me irrationally excited.

But the best part is now that that's working, I can put phase 2 into operation. Which is adding a temperature probe and some relays, so i can turn on a space heater and set it to whatever temperature I want when I leave work. And thus have a toasty bedroom without having to guess my work schedule with a timer.

Austrian Gore Tex Jacket.

Was a huge piece of luck. Pretty much impossible for me to find wel fitting clothes, and it was literally the first item, in the first store I went to and fit really well.

It's actually tight around the chest whilst still having long enough arms!

North and South (not the American one, the novel that the British one is based on).

A long down coat that was on sale. It was a lucky find, since usually if the coat is slim enough for me, the sleeves are too short. But this one was perfect and rather spiffy looking.

Groceries?

Not food item would be...I bought a baby rabbit to be friends with my older rabbit (3) after the oldest one (8ish) passed away. It's going well :)

Erm, probably a train ticket or something equally boring. Non-boring item - a long-sleeved denim shirt. I love it to bits, it's so comfy!

I went shopping today, this is what I bought in the last store I went to, I did buy some more serious stuff I actually need too:

- The Lord of The Rings extended edition trilogy
- All 7 Harry Potter movies
- Doctor Who T-shirt
- Mug With Gollum on it
- Two Posters (Harry Potter and The Hobbit)
- Harry Potter Wand (cheap version)
- The One ring from LoTR (again cheap version)

My mother might or might not have given me some money which she told me to use for shopping and not serious grown up stuff.

I did fly my Geek flag high today though, it was fun!

Order from Amazon.it: the most detailed version of The Hobbit available in Italy and the first season of X-Files in DVD! I'm enjoying both greatly.

Some silk flowers for the Kenshin photoshoot I just did out in the snow. And some lobster clasps with which to make some closures for the cage I just built my new bunny.

Who, if you count adoption fees, was one of the last things I "bought" before that, and since you said "show me", who doesn't want to be shown pics of a cute bunny?

A train ticket from Lompoc to LA. Before that, I bought pies in Morro Bay and a sandwich in San Luis Obispo. There's kind of a story there:

So two weeks ago, I took the train up to UCSB to see Cabaret with my friend who still goes there. I stayed the night with her then got another train and went up to Lompoc to see my sister. We were GOING to go to Hearst Castle for my birthday. Sunday morning we headed out and as we were driving, an alert kept going off that something was wrong with her charging system. We pulled off in Morro Bay and found a service station right away. Unfortunately it was only open Monday-Friday! Someone at a gas station told us to go to AutoZone, but they only sell parts. We called AAA and were told we'd have to be towed to SLO, where there was a mechanic open Sundays. While waiting for the tow truck, we wandered around a grocery store and bought some mini pies (apple and cherry). We got towed and sat around while they replaced my sister's alternator which was completely dead. There were sandwiches for lunch. Then we just went home (it was almost 5). I took the train back home Monday.

Sailor Moon R subbed box set. Got super lucky and spotted someone selling it on Amazon for only 60 bucks (up until then I'd never seen it for less than $100). Up until it arrived yesterday I was worried there had to be something wrong with it and that's why it was so cheap, but I've watched two disks already and so far looks like I just got lucky :D

Bus tickets.

If you're looking for the last not-mundane thing I bought, it was a leather jacket that's normally $408 that i got for $135. I waited months for the thing to drop in price. XD

...Gas. Before that, internet for my dorm room. And before that, online access to a homework. Hey-o, college!
