To me, this looks like a pretty nice way of saying "I had nothing to do with this." There's nothing in the bible about it, no sketches of any kind, nothing to contradict this.

Also, she didn't even want Cadence to be a Alicorn originally. And Celestia was supposed to be a queen. Obviously all of this changed, but a lot of that was the call of somebody else (except the Queen part, that was changed before the show started obviously)

We already knew that Unicorn were the superior Pony Race. Before Celestia, it was they that brought the night and day.

Well, there's a familiar western song that has popped up in more than one western movie and even non-western movies like the Big Lebowski. It's called the "Tumbling Tumbleweeds" You've probably heard the music before but never the words.

Hmm, as of right now, that only ones that I know I'm looking forward to are Thor 2 (even though I am not expecting good things from it) and ST 2. I don't pay that much attention to movies, though, so I probably don't even know of 3/4 of what is coming out this year.

Ten and Donna! There have been plenty of platonic Doctor/female companion duos on Who, but Ten and Donna made me take notice since they followed on the heels of Rose and Martha both having feelings for the Doctor. Donna was all "You're not mating with me, spaceman!" I just love them.

I'm only a casual fan, and not in fandom. I brought it up because I thought it was the obvious explanation and defense for how it sort of came out of nowhere. Similar to how Ginny has no personality because she's never in the books, and then suddenly BAM Harry's Perfect Girl.

Like I said, it doesn't justify the bad writing. Either more of it should have been written in, or it should have been written out.

That's fine, but I think you have to acknowledge that as an essentially personal preference - it would be more satisfying for you, but it wouldn't be intrinsically better. And I think you also have to acknowledge that, you know, f!s isn't and has never tried to be that.

The Tenth Doctor and Donna Noble. My favorite Doctor/companion relationship ever, hands down, and I've seen all of them.

Sisko and Dax from DS9. The way he calls her "Old Man" is basically the sweetest thing ever.

Why couldn't they just magic up money, or magic up clothes, for that matter? IDGI.

I seriously think they play off each other in something far more interesting than shipping fodder.

I'm not sure if Jolie could pull off the lollsterskates and drama without coming off as too cheesy. Maleficent might just be one of those characters that works better animated instead of live action.

but i'm not referring to other memes.

The next Hobbit movie. I sort of want to see that movie Epic, because the leaf people's designs are really rad, but the hip-talking, smooth-rolling slug thing's presence tells me it's not going for the "epic" thing so much as goofy kid's movie with twist.

I knit it myself. It's kind of easy once you get the hang of it, especially if you master the art of knitting while watching TV/movies. One to two hours every night and you'll get there in the end.
