I would hate for that to happen. I don't want Sherlock/Joan to be canon. T~T But that would make an excellent fic! I always secretly kind of ship platonic male/female relationships in my fandoms (Harry/Hermione, Don/Peggy), but would HATE it if any of it becomes canon.

This is how I felt watching The Unusuals. Shipped Walsh and Shraeger like crazy but I would have been so sad if it had ever been canon.

I think it would be epic if it turned out that Irene was alive; I kinda expect it, in fact. But I don't necessarily want her to be Moriarty.

Also, I went into Elementary DEFINITELY not wanting the leads to become a canon ship; but their relationship has grown in such a subtle and realistic way that I think it could be really enjoyable if done right.

Ever since we discovered that Irene was killed in a way where there was no body and no witnesses, I've just assumed that she's alive.

Hahaha. I feel the exact same way. I want them to be in love and/or fuck, and at the same I'm thinking "ugh, that'd be such bullshit."

I ship every version of Holmes/Watson with all my heart but I want none of them to be canon. I just don't think the dynamic could be preserved.

I would love it so much if Irene was Moriarty! I mean, I know it's so not even close to Conan Doyle!canon, but I would love it. So much.

Especially if it turns out that MorIrene was only around for a little before running off to do her own things and there was no more of her, or at least she didn't show up as much, and she wasn't behind actually everything surprise!

And, I get you on the shipping John/Sherlock thing; I don't ship them in canon, at all, ever (though I'm a sucker for a "having to fake being in a relationship" plots, so if they did that, I'd be so happy), but in fanon, ship ALL the Joan/Sherlock. :D Seriously, I have this really silly plotty headcanon for them and everything. :3

I have the same theory about Irene being Moriarty, but I don't want Joan and Sherlock to be canon. It would be so cliched and part of me is convinced Joan is gay.

Ugh, I don't want Joanlock to happen because one of my friends won't watch it coz she's a woman. Therefore he believes they're gonna get together. I don't want his reason to be justified.

Sherlock and John on Sherlock have shown greater sexual tension and is more likely to become canon than Elementary, IMHO.

I know! I'm completely waiting for the series to be over before I start it because I don't want to get into it, and then in a couple of seasons have them get together. I don't want to invest my emotions and time into something that's just going to piss me off.

I don't want it to happen either! I'm desperate for it not to happen. But my heart won't listen...

Sherlock/Watson is my OTP and I'd be thrilled if it became canon in any of the incarnations. It'd pretty much make it clear that they're meant to be (in all incarnations) if Joanlock happened.

I'd also read the hell out of that fic.

I want Ireniarty so bad too.

I can't look at the word "Ireniarty" and not think it's the ship portmanteau for Adler/Moriarty.

-crosses fingers for canon Violet/Sherlock- (Hey, if the BBC fans can ship Moriarty with Moran when the sniper hasn't been on Sherlock, I can ship CBS!Sherlock with a maid who hasn't been on Elementary.)

My dream is for Violet to be a re-occuring character (and to be really awesome).

I hate the Adler is Moriarty theory. Let Adler be badass without having to borrow from someone else's story. I'm also sick of evil Adler tbh.
