If people on this show actually communicated with each other there wouldn't be a show. Or at least there wouldn't be a teen drama show, it'd be more like werewolves hanging out and doing cool werewolf shit...or something.

To be honest, all that teenage drama is aggravating (yeah, i know it's called "teen wolf" and everything so i really shouldn't have expected anything, but hope springs eternal and all that). i wish they'd all just fucking grow up, work together, do-- as you said-- cool werewolf shit, and spend their time fighting the stuff that matters, like the hunters and other crazy mythical shit and not, y'know, each other.

I don't blame Scott for not wanting to work with Derek. Derek is actually the least helpful person ever. He either doesn't know, doesn't answer, or creates his own messes.

But I definitely think next season will be about Scott and Derek having to work together.

They're both fucking ridiculous. If I were Derek I wouldn't want to tell that wishy-washy, self-centered, ungrateful little shit anything either. And if I were Scott, I wouldn't want to work with Derek's secretive, uncommunicative, self-entitled ass, too.

They both suck (so why do i like them?? OTL), and I've pretty much given up hope of the two of them EVER forming a pack. /sad.

Lol, this. On one hand, he has a good heart and he tries. On the other hand, he fails.

But that would make sense and we can't have that. Better to make everyone act like idiots, so that we can have some cheap drama instead.

That's... that's the point. This isn't like the Enterprise. The biggest conflict doesn't come from the outside so much as it does from the inside.

I mean, don't get me wrong, I would like for them to get their act together too but... I just don't see it happening.

I'd like them to eventually trust each other. Even have a reluctantly cute lil bro big bro relationship.

Yeah. Scott does use every opportunity to shove Derek into walls, threatens his friends, and chooses to murder first before questions and stuff. Yep.

Oh wait my mistake. Derek doesn't have friends.

...And you seriously think Scott is any better? He fucking sent Derek to jail, TWICE, even though the first time the murdered party was CLEARLY NOT HUMAN (no questions asked!) and the second time he was CLEARLY INNOCENT.

And then there's Scott's constant "I'm not in your pack!" and "leave me alone!" and "I don't want anything to do with you but I want you to tell me everything and help me out when it's convenient for me!" bullshit.

If I were Derek I'd be treating the little shit badly, too.

Derek ain't a saint, but Scott isn't, either. And y'know, Derek's got a pretty good reason for being the way he is. What's Scott's excuse? Hormones?

Except Lydia and Sheriff Stilinski who WHY are they not recruited as the resident genius and law specialists yet. They're not butts, they're assets.

Mama McCall is also not a butt. So that's three characters now. Yay!

Could you go into a little more detail about it?

They'll probably end up working together in some capacity against the other pack, then have a falling out, rinse and repeat. It's just how their relationship works. Plus, the show needs to get it's drama from somewhere.

God, that guy is actually hot when he smiles.

I wish they'd work together too, but Scott can be a whiny brat and Derek is uncommunicative because he doesn't trust anyone after Kate. Plus since Scott was turned against his will and hates being a werewolf, he'll never want to work together (or ultimately form one pack) unless it's somehow to save Allison first and his friends second.

I really enjoy Derek and Scott not getting along, tbh. I hope their antagonistic relationship continues in season 3. |D

I'd rather they just did away with Scott and then everyone else could get more screen time. Especially Boyd, Erica, and Isaac.
