I hate sausage, and hotdogs. I don't know, but whenever I have eaten sausages I've gotten some grit and it's made me spit out the food and stop eating.

They take toes and fudge, suck out all the flavoring, and them boiled them down into a paste. Then they sell it as tofu!

I just watched 3 different videos on how tofu is made, I'm not seeing what's freaking you out so much. Care to elaborate?

It's the coagulating part. It's what they coagulate the soy juice WITH. D-:

Salts or acids are the alternate coagulants. The original, and still the most-used, coagulant, is GYPSUM. I might as well peel the drywall off of my walls and chew on that. D-:

Which isn't even touching on the note under the wiki on gypsum, and I quote:

"Synthetic gypsum is recovered via flue-gas desulfurization at some coal-fired power plants. It can be used interchangeably with natural gypsum in some applications." D-:

I dunno, I've seen first-hand how sausages are made and they're still as delicious as ever.

Actually, I'm not that big of a fan of sausages but they're okay and I'll eat some every now and then. Honestly, I'm more worried about things like blue cheese (which I LOVE) and shrimps, and even then... Delicious food is delicious.

Maybe I'm not just very squeamish.

I never got the problem with sausages or anything really, I don't care how my food is made or what's in it as long as it is done in sanitary conditions and not human meat...

This tbh. To get us to stop eating McDonalds, this one guy at school showed us a video of a whole cow going into a meat-grinder, and while I couldn't watch that video at all, it's not gonna stop me from eating McDonalds, man. That stuff is too delicious to deny.

I can't get seitan as I am is living in the back of beyond. I was lucky they carry one brand of tofu *at* *all* tbh.
