6. Apollo's Song! :D I'm seriously madly in love with that manga. Every single chapter has such a tearjerker ending. ;_; And Shogo is so sympathetic. He's the kind of character that I really feel for and want to be happy.

8. I was always under the impression that if it had boobs, Jayne was all for it.

1) I LOVE SCRUBS!!!!

10) I'd read a well-written Jayne/OC.

19) You're not too old. Some of the most awesome people i know in the fandom are over 30.

29. Only almost. They are too awesome not to ship.

[identity profile] chicafrom3.livejournal.com 2007-09-22 03:13 am (UTC)(link)
4. Agreed. *sigh* I need to go and reread that from beginning to end, now.

12. Eee, John and Raul love! ♥ We need some more theatre secrets, man.

14. It's alllllll about the Tosh love. ♥♥♥

19. You're never too old for fandom. Or, I sincerely hope I will never become too old for fandom, might be more accurate.

[identity profile] threepwillow.livejournal.com 2007-09-22 03:15 am (UTC)(link)

Re: 13

[identity profile] lykomancer.livejournal.com 2007-09-22 05:37 am (UTC)(link)
Well, aren't you a supportive little sweetheart!

[identity profile] dorknessrising.livejournal.com 2007-09-22 04:07 am (UTC)(link)
13. ...And this is precisely why Furries scare the shit out of me.

[identity profile] yui-hime.livejournal.com 2007-09-22 04:09 am (UTC)(link)
13) You had me until the "seme/uke" cliches. Then I turned off.

(Anonymous) 2007-09-22 04:14 am (UTC)(link)
1 - Me too, and that'd be pretty damn hot.

7 - ...I'm so, so sorry.

15 - Mmmm, I can see why. ♥

24 - It's been even worse since the dub first aired.

29 - ...I hate when that happens. *sigh*

HEY! 27! ARE YOU LOOKING? 27....

[identity profile] callmejude.livejournal.com 2007-09-22 04:28 am (UTC)(link)
27!!!

Did I get your attention? Okay, great. Can you write a billion fanfics and then be my best friend? Plzkthnx.

[identity profile] pts.livejournal.com 2007-09-22 04:39 am (UTC)(link)
10. For what it's worth, I am always open to a well-written OC, and if you write this, you can even let me know, because I would love to read it. Fuck the haters.

19. I know how you feel. Goddamn but I know how you feel. You are not alone.

29. Oh god that scene with Katara and the wringing the hair out and the little smile and the OH JESUS I AM GOING TO HELLLLLLL.

(Anonymous) 2007-09-22 05:25 am (UTC)(link)
Re, 13; there's a fandom for that; it's commonly referred to as 'transformation' or TF. There's a fair bit of written smut, but not much guy/guy from what I've seen. As for art, just give it a google and I'm sure you'll be able to find something.

There's even a fair bit of non-smutty stuff, especially artwise. I used to be a BNF artist in that fandom, and never posted any smut at all.

Hey, man, whoever you are, I get'cha. I really, really do.

When I was a kid, I thought sexual feelings and all that was related to shapeshifting, and that if I could figure it all out, I'd turn into a wolf or fox at the moment of orgasm. (Um...I was a precocious child in that regard... Heh...)

So uh, yeah. I'd totally dig your comic.

(Anonymous) 2007-09-22 05:41 am (UTC)(link)
13. I know how you feel, I've had that same fetish for transformation, and also onefor size differences/size changing as long as I can remember. Before I was really very much aware of sex I still had responses to physical transformations when they appeared in literature. It sounds like you have that in common with me. If you look around there's places dedicated to transformation. You're not alone in being aroused by it. It's funny that I'm not ashamed to enjoy and talk about all kinds of dirty fandom porn, but I'm horribly afraid to admit to anyone about these fixations of mine.

Hasn't been updated in a million years, but there's a lot of stories here. (http://tsa.transform.to/) I'm also fond of this site, (http://www.transformationlist.com/) which documents transformation in published media. Just googling a bit will find you a lot more.

23. I SO DID NOT WRITE THIS SECRET, BUT I COULD HAVE. XD

Srsly, friend me right now cause I already think you're awesome. ♥♥♥ Slice 'o life stories >>>>>> everything else. I love reading about mundane, down to earth stuff that is funny and overdramatic, it's just so enjoyable. Nodame is one of my absolute favourites, hooray for the NCIS!!!

(Anonymous) 2007-09-22 06:40 am (UTC)(link)
22) What does being a BNF and the ability or lack thereof to draw have to do with friending someone back? It sounds like a perfect opportunity to make a new friend in fandom, why are you being so negative about it?

[identity profile] imouto.livejournal.com 2007-09-22 08:10 am (UTC)(link)
12. I want to do John Barrowman and the only thing I've ever seen him in was as the blonde nazi in the Producers. It wasn't until way later I realized he was in other things. XD; (Never got interested in them though... but I still lust shamelessly after him every 'Springtime for Hitler'.)

20.

23. Sci-fi and cyberpunk series (along with slice of life) are a niche genre; it's a given that it wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea. From what I've seen though it's the sci-fi series that get a lot more flakes from viewers due to its inaccessibility (most of the time, that is; I don't think DtB's that hard to make sense of, for example) compared to the more “viewer-friendly” slice of life series (like Nodame, Honey and Clover, Mushishi, etc.). Just from what I've observed, of course.

Personally though, I love them both to death, buuuut, sci-fi series earn a higher place in my heart. The thing with GitS and Ergo Proxy though, I just want to say, is that despite how some of the characters may have started out as a typical character archetype (like the Major and ReL), they grow beyond it, nothing too in-your-face, but something that just feels almost natural by the time that you finish the series, IMO. As for the same general setting, well, that's cyberpunk in a nutshell; just avoid it if it's not for you.

One of these days I really must finish Nodame; I stopped after a certain episode, I may have gotten a bit underwhelmed with it after the experiencing the greatness of H&C.
