Actually? I think most of fandom is in their 20s or older. I've seen polls on it and it seems that that is where the majority are. And really, most of us don't share our ages anyway - heck, I tend to think of everyone in fandom as my age XD.

haha, I'm sure that's not what the secret's implying! It's just that more often it seems to be assumed that people who don't like watching deep and meaningful shows are, well, flighty retards (though I personally think what's deep and meaningful to a person will differ). Of course, I don't see why it would be shameful to the OP to love slice of life over scifi either; I love silly shounen shows above all else, so if anyone's the loser in this bunch it's me. D=

23 -- I kind of feel the same way as you do, except in reverse. D: To me, slice of life = mind-numbingly boring. All the characters are always the same, and they big conflicts in the stories are usually the same. It just gets boring and repetitive.

I tried to like that stuff. I really did. I read Hana Yori Dango, I read Marmalade Boy, Kare Kano, all that stuff.

And I felt like gouging out my own eyes afterwards.

For me, the sci-fi action stuff just owns it so bad. D:

25 -- Does I see Shavo Odadjian? ;D DAMN. He is one of the sexiest bald bassists ever. I think he gave me a thing for bald guys. UNF, man. Unf.

23. Word. There are very few slice of life shows I like, be they anime or live action. The only one I can name off the top of my head that I loved was Densha Otoko, because it really WAS something fresh and new and not the same old rehashed situation over and over.

I find Nodame boring as hell with the occasional moment that makes me want to stab the characters through their eyes with pencils. Repeatedly. Typical Odd Couple Romance(TM), only Chiaki really is an uptight asshole, and not just acting it as a front. Watching him treat Noda like shit because he has an ego that could eat Hokkaido whole isn't my idea of funny.

4. I liked it... but I think I like FH more. I'd have liked BMB more if it hadn't gone all crazy soap operaey near the end and had them all break up their friendship.
