Or are you just really really excited for both, but just a tad more about the show?

(Anonymous) 2013-07-18 10:06 pm (UTC)(link)I think more women than men go crazy about their wedding day because from early on little girls get 'trained' to do so.
Just look at how much focus is always on finding one man to be with until you die and weddings in media for little girls.
Plus, the wedding industry is a thing.
My wife actually got made fun of because she didn't want a big poofy white dress when we got married. People were saying things like "you two looked the same, lol. Who of you was the bride again?" and "you look like you got divorced, not married" when they saw the photos from our wedding day.

(Anonymous) 2013-07-18 09:59 pm (UTC)(link)Weddings are stressful. Most people want no ceremony and party at all, but are forced to have it because ~tradition~.
When my wife and I got married we just went to the registry office in fancy attire (we didn't buy new clothes for it, though) and afterwards had a dinner with our respective parents - tadaa.
If OP is anything like my wife and I, I totally get them.
