except for the actual "writing a crossover" part. And randomly, I probably WOULD be upset if I read one and Gert was still dead but Bart wasn't. They were both my favorite characters in their respective series. And while I can understand your logic for making that decision, I never particulalry cared about Robin anyway, let alone his feelings. BUT THAT'S JUST ME. I'd probably still read it, though.

Gert and Bart were my favorites as well. Having Gert dead isn't actually important to write the fic (she would, in fact, make it more awesome) but I liked the idea of having Robin and Chase awkwardly try and talk about their girlfriends, but it not actually helping anything. Chances of my pulling off the scene are slim though.
I might write try and write it with everyone, though. My biggest problem now being how to get the teams together when their bases are over a hundred miles apart...

36. Oh my god, I loved that movie so much as a kid! XD But I couldn't find any copies of it anywhere, not on DVD or VHS. :( Found the first one on DVD though.

I have no idea were I'd even look to download it either.

The second movie has been out on DVD for some time (bought it a few years ago). I don't know how widely distributed it is, though. I'm pretty sure Walmart carries it (in Canada, anyway).

3. What if I'm, like, in a store. And in the store there are games. How can I express my desire to own the game or that I think whoever I'm with should play it? ARE WE ALLOWED TO SIGN-LANGUAGE ABOUT FANDOM WITHOUT MEETING YOUR WRATH, OH ALMIGHTY COOL-QUALITY-CONTROL BOT?

What about people who talk about sports and music in public? How about classic literature? Do you wander college campuses with your hittin' stick to make sure people don't tempt you to be geeky in public?

16. I actually like the pairing because of the whole opposites attract thing and how I think Demyx would be able to loosen Zexion up a bit. I never even noticed the 69 thing until way later *lol slow*. But, yeah, I admit that LexZex and XigDem are more logical. At least they actually interact with each other at one point in the game. I just wish there wasn't such a stigma attached to people who like Zemyx =/

2. It does make me sad when I see stuff like that. On some level it is certainly popularity, can't discount THAT, but a lot of it is timing and post interest. Actually, the fact that the posts round it are only at 3-400 suggests it might have just been a slow day in general? Either way, in my experience, getting your character out via ninjaing for a week or so will guarantee people want to jump your posts when they see them. And that isn't so much POPULARITY as simply establishing yourself, something necessary in any walk of life. You should join! Provided you weren't too attached your soul.

5. Hm. well I would call you a sadist, at least in your fantasies. But then I read this and went "wow I want to write a character like THAT" so.

1. They're both pronounced the same, so I don't think it really matters. I usually say Raito because I got used to it before all the scanlators realized it was actually spelt Light. Of course, if I'm talking to someone who calls him Light, I'll say Light too, but I don't think it's that big a deal either way, haha.

10. ...Well he is seriously missing out. And I know how you feel -- a male friend of mine won't watch the series because of the name and the fact that it has to do with ballet (and he thinks less of me because I DO like it, as if being 22 and liking Princess Tutu is something I should be ashamed of. Whatever). Does a fantastic story and wonderful characters mean anything more than a first impression nowadays? And personally, I loved how they included ballet, references to plays/operas/stories and all sorts of things. Highly engaging and interesting. It's really, really sad to see so many people turn away from the series due to such things, but I guess there will always be some people you just can't get through to. ...Pardon my rant.

34. EARTHBOUND FTW! Oh man, if I could get my hands on an SNES right now, I would absolutely love to play that again even if I've already played it a half a dozen times. I really loved the Gigas battle too, though. I didn't get nightmares from it, but I thought it was a really neat idea. I also had fun finally being able to beat the shiz out of Pokey before he could run away for once.

But dude, the battle is creepy enough on its own, but if you know all the trivia and stuff behind it that just makes it even worse :< Like how in Giygas'... I think third phase (where he's all multiplied and stuff), the black space around him forms the shape of a human fetus. Stuff like that. Not to mention what the battle itself is based off of...

It's my OTP. And I'm always willing to have an intelligent discussion about the pairing, and why I ship it. Not sure if you'll see this comment, but hey, if you do? Reply, or comment on my lj, or send an e-mail. It's so much more than the 6/9 thing, or the fact that they're both lovely. At least to me. And goodness knows I'm always happy to at least try and explain why I love it as much as I do.

I'd read it, as long as "talking about their dead girlfriends" really means talking about their dead girlfriends and not buttsecks (though I'd prolly still read it even it it did mean buttsecks)... Gert is dead so we can't fault you for it. (Though with the current story arc there is a sliver of hope that the time line will be altered and Gert will be alive again, man I'm trying not to keep my hopes up)

No, the scenario was going to be that everyone else was getting on pretty well, but the only thing they could talk about was the fact that they both had dead girlfriends. It would have been very awkward.
As it is though, I'm probably going to do a past-fic where Gert is alive, just so everybody wins. The scene wasn't that important anyway.

2) Sadly it happens. :( I don't think it's always a case of popularity although like anything it's a factor that does come up sometimes. Personally I feel bad if ANY post seems neglected since I hate the feeling, but I can say personally that in my case, my only reason for not replying to something is lack of an idea for a comment. XD
