Re: Because why the fuck?
However, I could see Sherlock (without John) ending up in the US and stumbling into something the Supernatural boys are investigating, while tracking down Moriarty's network. Three years of gallivanting who-knows-where leaves a lot of wiggle room. (Personally, I'd have no interest because -- no John.)

(Anonymous) 2013-09-23 04:06 am (UTC)(link)Except that Sherlock isn't on BBC America. It has never been on BBC America. I kind of wish it were, because even if we got commercials, they'd probably show it closer to it's original British broadcast and not trim a few minutes each episode to add an introduction with Alan Cumming. Sorry to go off on you, but I'm tired of reading this all the time. Sherlock is shown in the US on PBS as part of the Masterpiece Mystery line. They co-produce it.
Re: Because why the fuck?
My point still stands for the most part -- both are British productions, so they're going to be joined at the hip for most Americans.
(I can't help wonder if it's because or in spite of my growing up on a steady diet of Monty Python, that I don't conflate all things British.)
