Some things in which I don't think I'd be overly interested; mpreg, or most pregnancy stories - and there, I've made exceptions because there are writers who could make me interested in gripping emotional stories of potholders bearing baby squirrels to parturition.

I've made exceptions because there are writers who could make me interested in gripping emotional stories of potholders bearing baby squirrels to parturition.

And god isn't that the truth. When I started reading fic I could solidly say I did not read X, Y, or Z, but at this point I think I've read just about anything solely due to amazing authors making it interesting and engaging despite my lack of interest in the topic. Authors are wizards I tells ya.

Fandoms: Hannibal (I'm completely nuts about it and post it on tumblr constantly) and Supernatural (I love it but have to avoid it almost entirely on tumblr during the season because of rampant spoilers). The only other show I really love all the way through is Father Ted. XD Also supernatural horror in general and loads of other movies like LOTR. I do have a lingering hateboner for most of Lost that comes up much, much more often on questionnaires like this than in my regular fangirling life, but it seems like the sort of thing you should mention to avoid annoying anyone later.
What in fandom interests me: slash shipping and fic without strict top/bottom roles, humor, thoughtful meta about characterization and relationships, fanart, zillions of gifs, etc.
What in fandom does NOT interest me: untagged spoilers, endless complaining, extremely overinvested shipping (especially when you can see the obvious iceberg in the distance and they can't), unshakable fanon that makes no sense, supernatural horror where it turns out they were crazy the whole time and absolutely none of it really happened (maybe a couple of them are decent but it's probably my least favorite trope ever, and a certain show soured me on the necessity of supposedly mindblowing twists in everything), hardcore BDSM and other serious kink (not a moral objection or anything like that, just a total lack of interest).
Major Non-fandom Interests: writing original fiction that I only vaguely mention in fandom space, baking, reading (especially nonfiction about history, crime, humans as the huge weirdos we are, etc.), cats and other animals, laughing whenever possible.
My LJ/DW/tumblr/etc Contains Mostly: My LJ and DW are just for commenting and posting my fic (a long fixit saga for Ben/Locke from Lost, my OTP and the only thing I still love from that show). I'll most likely write a little for Hannibal at some point, since I also ship Hannigram, but in a very different way that's not really fixit territory. I ship Dean/Cas pretty casually and don't feel like there's anything I could add to the vast mountains of fic for them. I'm most active on my tumblr, which contains tons of Hannibal, mostly the two leads and their actors (I also really like Beverly and am curious about Freddie's trajectory, so I post them sometimes), plus cat gifs, Sims, some music (Jeff Buckley, Avett Brothers, U2), random funny things and random horror-related things (sometimes these intersect).
