There should be snot and faces that screw up in real pain or get red and all that stuff that really happens. It makes it so much easier to empathize with them.

27. I may get lynched for saying this, but whatever. I don't really feel like I can sit back and watch for once without putting my 2c in.

Can I just say? Of course the mods are going to choose someone they like, jesus h christ. Why would they choose someone they dislike? That hardly makes any sense. And honestly, I feel she is a much fairer choice as a mod over someone like you who makes up wanky, hurtful secrets before even trying to bring it up in a mature and adult-like fashion within the community. "There isn't an anon concerns post"? Okay, so why haven't you MADE ONE? It's not like one or two people are restricted to ever making them. Anyone can make one. Or if you feel like you "aren't popular enough and nobody will pay attention to it because wah wah I'm not popular," you can always ask someone else. I know there are plenty of nice and "popular"-- as you would term it-- people in-game who would be more than happy to put up an anon concerns post for you.

Also, I'm curious as to why you think that our new mod isn't a good choice. I think I've threaded with her a total of two times, hardly ever spoken to her OOCly either, I don't have an opinion of her as a person or a player either way, so you can hardly say I'm biased. But as a mod, I think she has the right qualities. She's online a lot, she's good at facilitating arguments, she's diplomatic and inoffensive, she's responsible when it comes to handling in-game issues, she's also the sweetest thing this side of a candy store-- and I say that without any bias, judging on any and all interactions I've seen her participiate in. This secret in part feels like a personal attack, and I find it completely and horribly unfair.

There. I said it. And I'm not saying it anonymously, because this is something I feel strongly enough about to put my name to. Enough is enough. Bring on the drama, if you will.

27) I really don't think the mods would just choose someone for a reason like that. I would save my judgment for when she's got the opportunity to use the modstick and can actually show people what she can do? I know I believe in her and the mods in choosing her, she's awesome. ♥

But as a side note, the 'we' there is sort of ... contradictory in ways of talking about cliques, if in fact it means more than just the secretmaker.

I'm probably the only one from Brawl who regurlarly visits fandomsecrets, so, I guess I have to talk, huh?

S'true that sometimes Brawl is sort of clique-y, but you have to talk to characters in their post if you want to accept them. Don't be afraid to jump people! I know I enjoyed being randomly jumped on, even if I rarely do it -- I'm terrible at commenting outside of my own posts and I'm easily distracted XD; FAILURE is me and whatever.

Anyway, when you're new, apparently the trick is to get a popular character. I'm kidding, I'm kidding. (Even though it's ... almost what happened to me!) But if you really want people to interact with you and start to form bonds, a lotta time you gotta work for it. \o/ so. um. I'm not sure where I'm going with this but FIGHT-O?!

It's a crack roleplay, I'm pretty sure the key to being liked is being funny. ... okay?

Or, you know, you could just jump my characters. I CAN HAS ACCEPTANCE NAO? I dunno.

24. I feel the same way -- I love Higurashi, but couldn't so much as get past the first chapter of Loveless. I'm not sure why that had to be a secret, though. Is it no longer allowed for someone to like psychological horror but be disturbed by shoutacon?
