I know exactly what you mean, and even i was like that a couple of weeks ago D: I begun to get severely aggravated with the Reborn fandom because everything in that fandom somehow results to 'OMG THEY TTLY LUV EACH OTHER~~~ NEKO NEKO WAIIIIIIIIIIII ^^^_____^^^' and it's like 'NO. Ah, pardon me, but I don't see how you're making that generalization with any good amount of basis to it. Unless you've actually been checking numbers of how many times that game has had 'shit' flung on it compared to other games/fandoms/whatever your idea of 'things on the internet' are.

Oh god, my college's anime club was full of people like that. It was ALL YAOI ALL THE TIME no matter what we were watching. We could be watching anime about, I dunno, ferns, and they would still draw porn all over the chalkboard. That was why I went once or twice, and then stopped going. Forever. Bloody irritating.

But. The one decent, sane, reasonable person in that club was the president, and I will one day marry him, so I'm glad I went at least that once.

There's so little and it's sad. cabinetoffandom and pendergasters seem to be the two communities, but most of the fandom takes place on an EZboard off the LJ ghetto, it seems.

I find the biggest and most common cause of problems in RPs is lack of communication. If you have a concern, say something! Say it nicely, but say it! If you don't speak up, people honestly won't know what your problem is, and nothing will change.

And then again... Maybe the reason you feel there's a clique problem is because you're scared to actually get out and talk to these people? So what if you're worried about getting mobbed on? Being passive aggressive won't accomplish anything except create a good foundation for future drama.

# 12.: The reason why so many of us are anti this book is because, more often then not it gets shoved in our faces not only by popular literary world but other annoying fans who seem to think of this as the ultimate teen romance/vampire/paranormal novel EVAR and there must be something wrong with us if we don't like it. It's not the end all be all of vampire romances but when it's shoved in our faces that it is, we get defensive for daring to disagree.

..at least that's how it is for me XD. You seem like one of the sane fans who understand that NO not everyone loves this book and that's fine with you. That's cool, definitely.
