34. It seems odd to say, but I completely agree! Maybe 'cause I ship more than slash, and it's nice to see a bit of realism in yaoi, or (with dojinshi), that they contain het pairings I enjoy. Slash is all well and good, and goodness knows I adore it, but het's just as awesome. Hooray for the mangas/animes/etc. that actually integrate both!

(the notes for "I'm in Marsport Without Hilda": Actually, those who know my writing know that I ever introduce naughty motifs into my stories. However, an editor [name not mentioned]... once told me he suspected that I never had love scenes in my stories because I was incapable of writing them. from Asimov's Mysteries 1968).

I'm not resourceful, just odd and lucky.

I kind of wish I'd had something like that to make me enjoy the games when I was in high school marching band, ahaha. Not that dicking around with my section and whatnot wasn't fun too, though. But the year I drum majored it was like, shit, I actually have to pay attention so I know when to have us play the fight song! And it would've been nice if I had actually cared about the game then. XD

And I kind of understand the feeling. Reading Oofuri has kind of made me want to actually go follow baseball, except that somehow that would make me feel like the biggest loser ever if I did because loooooool. But it's so tempting! Because I really do like the manga for more than just the characters. I DIDN'T REALIZE SPORTS COULD ACTUALLY BE, Y'KNOW. INTERESTING. D:
