Sure do! There's logs here (http://community.livejournal.com/desaiuniversity/12554.html?thread=60938#t60938), here (http://community.livejournal.com/desaiuniversity/17279.html), here (http://community.livejournal.com/desaiuniversity/25290.html), and here (http://community.livejournal.com/desaiuniversity/26548.html). Oh, and an unfinished one here (http://alinexile.livejournal.com/6080.html) I almost forgot about. I'm the Vash, yeah.

Now, uh, these are from a game where they were professors at a college, hahaha. ;;; It was also my first time RPing on LJ so the quality might kind of be crap. I hope you enjoy them anyway.

28. Word, from someone who can tell the difference (I'm... of the "just not able to get a boyfriend" crowd... but definitely not asexual. Oh no.)

On second thought, I worded that weirdly and confused my point. Whoops.

6- Like I said in another comment... I haven't watched much of the Tennant series, but that would be an amazing crossover (and I wonder how he'd interact with Eccleston/Baker). I'D WATCH IT!

9- Whee transgender? That female Barret is sexy.

11- Aw, I liked Viral after timeskip. If only because his Dreamworld sequence in 26 made me "D:" and sort of really appreciate his motivations. It's my second favorite scene in the entire series, I think.

13- Not Radu, but Catalina was my first schoolboy TV crush. (When you think about it, they killed off a character in a kids' TV show. Or well, they didn't but you THOUGHT they did. And then she came back as Kaylee, yay)

21- QFT. He's gay and should be gay with other old gay men if anything. >_> I was really glad to hear about it, though. So many times you have characters who, if they're gay, are defined solely by their sexuality. Now, you have a beloved children's book character who is awesome and pretty fleshed out through the series, and doesn't become any LESS awesome... he was just gay in addition to all of that. It's so rare and I really can't think of any others [strike]except maybe Miles Edgeworth[/strike].

28- Sexuality in fandom is strange. I say this cognizant that I am pretty much "in fandom" and... ...I don't really know where I'm going with this, so I think I better quit while I'm ahead.

Notsecret 1 - No idea. Couldn't tell you if I tried. It really doesn't make much sense to hate on it that much to me (even if you're all "omg I see nothing but that!" ...because people like it and write it because they like it? Hell, write your own damn stuff if you want, maybe it'll inspire others.)

Notsecret 2 - Meh. People ask, she should answer.

2 OP

Sorry that the whole world isn't as tolerant as you would like. Sorry to say, but my friend grew up in a very, very conservative home.

And before you go off and say "then why are you friends with her", let me tell YOU that you do not decide who I am and am not friends with. Mild homophobia aside, she's an EXCELLENT friend and I'm a lot more inclined to take her side than some anonymous stranger.

So please don't be telling me what to do about my friends.

Re: To 9

[identity profile] jessicamariek.livejournal.com 2007-10-21 10:18 pm (UTC)(link)
Ooh, nifty. *giggle* I've been Googling and have found no list of internet rules that goes above 47. Thanks!

21, 28

[identity profile] candy--chan.livejournal.com 2007-10-21 10:18 pm (UTC)(link)
21. I like the books, but I'm not really into the Harry Potter fandom. That having been said, that announcement did make me smile...until it devoured my f-list. But yeah, I'm also hoping that it won't erupt as you say.

28. I'm probably setting myself up for wank here, but am I the only one who's getting tired of these "Why are there so many [insert sexuality here] people in fandom??" debates?

I'm not trying to belittle the secret, so please don't misunderstand me on that front. Yes, there are asexual people out there--my best friend is one of them. Yes, there are asexual people in fandom. There are also bisexual people in fandom. And heterosexual and homosexual. I wish we could just let it be.

[identity profile] cftf.livejournal.com 2007-10-21 10:19 pm (UTC)(link)
In some ways it is. Besides, if you think there's really NOTHING out there but that couple, you aren't looking hard enough. Granted, a lot of what else is pretty... meh (well, the majority of fandom in general tends to be meh no matter what they're writing, to be fair) but it certainly exists.

But yeah. It is sort of, essentially, the same in spirit if not actual words.

[identity profile] regendy.livejournal.com 2007-10-21 10:21 pm (UTC)(link)
15. Eee! My medieval history class decided they were OTP after seeing the movie. Write it! And sainthood makes it better, if only because of all the lame puns you can make about the pairing being canon(ized.)

25. I... will have to try this now!

[identity profile] candy--chan.livejournal.com 2007-10-21 10:21 pm (UTC)(link)
There are legitimately asexual people in the world--my best friend is one of them. I don't know why people seem to have such a difficult time accepting that there are people out there who aren't attracted to other people in a romantic/sexual context. I can't speak for the girl mentioned in the secret--perhaps it was an excuse, perhaps not, I don't know and I don't care to guess. But your comment (anonymous, no less) comes off as extremely ill-informed to my mind.

[identity profile] cftf.livejournal.com 2007-10-21 10:22 pm (UTC)(link)
It's a good question about MagShoe (It's adorable and lovable but why IS there so little of it?)... but yeah. You're right that I doubt the P/E shippers ONLY ship P/E or like those two, but... I dunno. Sometimes it's just easier to write a pair of characters. I tried to write P/E and they just wouldn't cooperate >_> And really, there's some extremely well-done Phoenix/Edgeworth that doesn't necessarily just focus on the two, and does bring all the other relationships in the series (like Phoenix to the Feys, Edgey to Fran, etc) into question.

I agree with 7.

Re: Not!Secret 1

(Anonymous) 2007-10-21 10:22 pm (UTC)(link)
I've seen that rule of thumb applied to nearly all the pairings of PW. Common examples being that a Phoenix/Maya supporter is a yaoi-hating obligatory hero/heroine shipper, Fran/Edgeworth supporter is a yaoi-hating ignoring-familial-bonds het shipper, Fran/Adrian is a jump-at-yuri shipper, etcetera etcetera. I'd swear the only one to not get that kind of reply is Gumshoe/Maggey because it doesn't interfere with any huge ships/is pretty much canon.

So it's just stronger with Phoenix/Edgeworth because it's prominent? I always got the feeling that P/E supporters were supposed to be the 'cool sane' ones of the fandom. How fandom changes.

[identity profile] terrie.livejournal.com 2007-10-21 10:23 pm (UTC)(link)
Because everyone who says they are asexual is just using it as an 'excuse'? That's very accepting of you.

No comment on the comments but I LOVE YOUR FUCKING ICON.

Eddie for the goddamn win.

Re: 2 OP

(Anonymous) 2007-10-21 10:24 pm (UTC)(link)
Likewise, don't assume to know what I'm thinking.

Nobody should ever feel the need to censor themselves for the benefit of someone else. Especially not over something as fickle as liking a yaoi pairing. It's not the end of the world for either you or her and if it would actually have such a huge impact on her that she'd freak out over it, then maybe she's long overdue for learning that not everyone will pander to the way she was raised.

For the record, I don't like yaoi either. But if my friends post about it, I don't get upset or post a bitchy comment or freak out about it. I scroll past and move on.
I see a lot of "my friends would freak out if they found out I *insert really stupid, insignificant thing here that shouldn't impact friendships in any way*" secrets. People need to stop pandering to each other and realise that their personal LJs are their space. So what if your friends don't agree with something you like? The world would be boring if we all agreed with each other all the time and people who can't accept something as small as a difference in opinion over PORN should learn that sooner rather than later.

[identity profile] cftf.livejournal.com 2007-10-21 10:25 pm (UTC)(link)
Maybe. Maybe it's just not meeting the right person. My ex-girlfriend considered herself asexual until we began going out, and then after we broke up (and she's still one of my best friends)... well, uh, she still hasn't dated anyone since.

And sexuality was kind of a strange thing with her while we were together, anyway.

...this comment really lost its point somewhere down the line.

That was actually our conclusion. Since the Order of Lorelei seems based off the Christian church, it seemed likely to be practiced. Though it would be inconvenient to circumcise EVERYONE so it probably was practiced amongst the nobility but not the common folk. I'd imagine that it would've eventually become a class distinction that's never talked about in public.

...So Guy's lack of foreskin would indeed prove his noble status, yes.

...and do I know you? Totally understand if you don't want to answer. :x

LAWL. MOAR PORN.

But seriously, not necessarily. I watch porn but I have no interest in participating in the act myself. It's hot to watch, but I don't want to.

Then again... that's not really asexual is it? I looked up the definition on wikipedia a while ago, and it seemed to fit my predicament, but I'm not so certain anymore. I think a large part of it is fear... with another large part being pride.

So, yeah, failed to make a point. MOAR PORN!

I've seen most of Eccleston, then! Or a good portion. I didn't like him much--had some nice lines, but the writing wasn't the best for his season and he's not as appealing to me as Tennant (Maybe I'm shallow, though. Tennant's a hottie)

and I've heard great things about Four. I really should check him out already. He's the 'favorite', so I'm sure he's hella fun. I really should attack TV Links...
