Really? Really?

She doesn't look like she could do a goddamn pushup, let alone kick some serious ass.

Also, the movie will in all likelihood be shit (it's not batman and that's all DC can do). So this fills me with less excitement then disappointment. Cause now there's LESS likelihood of a good wonder woman movie.

There's less likelihood of a good Wonder Woman movie because Wonder Woman represents everything anyone other than Disney-Marvel wants out of a female superhero.

She's probably going to end up fucking Superman.

Look at Christian Bale before the Nolan trilogy, though. The movie only just started filming; she's got plenty of time to bulk up.

Agreed on all points. I appreciate them getting someone who has vaguely the same coloring as Wonder Woman, but who decided someone super skinny was the right choice? I hope they require her to seriously bulk up or something. :/

Obviously, we must judge her on how she looks.

Well, she did join the Israeli Army and serve her two-year term as sports trainer in the Israel Defense Forces. So, I think she could do a push-up or two.

I'm not a big DC fan but I'm praying this isn't terrible (I really disliked Man of Steel but I want a good Wonder Woman movie so bad)

Maaan I wanted a Batman&Superman movie so bad for so long, and if it includes Wondy so much the better...but it's Batman VS Superman, and otherwise looks like it's gonna suck. :(

This is them feeling it out. If this movie does really great and everybody loves WW in it, they might go ahead with a movie.

However, I'm not so sure it'll go over well enough to get that. I mean, I don't know if this movie will be blah, but I'm not sure if it will clear "meh" tier.

Welp, I only know the actress from Fast and Furious and while I adore those movies, they aren't exactly the place to look for superb or serious acting. So I'm not sure about the actress, but maybe she'll bulk up for the role (god, she better) and she'll be great and surprise everyone. At least they're doing something with Wonder Woman; if people like her maybe she'll get her own film. (I wouldn't bet on it, but it's good to be optimistic.)

but yeah I guess it'd be too much to expect a woman to do the same for a role, I mean that's just ~impossible~ with our female bodies.

Also pshh, relative unknowns can never put in good performances in comic book movies and become world famous overnight, that's never been known to happen!
