Instead, why not try having a weekly weigh-in? Do it consistently and you'll have much more reliable data for how you're losing weight over time. This is also a lot less stressful!

Also, when people (in the course of a conversation/appropriate context) ask me how much I weigh and I say I don't really know, their reactions are priceless. >:)

For example, I used to wear a woman's 34-36 dress size.
I'm now in a 30-32 thanks to dietary changes and increased exercise.
According to the scale I've GAINED 7lbs.
That's why scales don't work for me.

I prefer to go by measurements. That, I find, is far more accurate than weighing. When I first went on birth control, I was limited to eating frozen waffles and yogurt smoothies -- those were the only thing I didn't throw up. I didn't actually lose any appreciable amount of weight. I stayed around 120-125 (and a fluctuation of about 5lbs during a day is normal for me), but my waistline went from 36" to 28" in 6wks. The scale did jack-all.
(And yes, I'm well aware that's NOT HEALTHY. I'd been told that people new to birth control could have that reaction, though, so I didn't even think to ask about trying something different. Weirdly, I went back on it later, after having MAJOR emotional issues with the other pills I had been scripted, and even if I was puking, I was at least not suicidal. It totally didn't have that effect the second time, even though I had been off birth control for 6mo or more by that point... so I don't even know. The sick thing is that I was actually disappointed... I am much more content and accepting of my body after finding the body acceptance movement, at quite a bit heavier a weight, than I was back when I was a "socially acceptable" weight...)

I'm not even going to give you advice because I know I wouldn't want it if I were in your place, but I hope you are losing weight as healthily as is possible because compulsive weighing did me no good and just made me feel bad.
