2. Was I the only one who felt strangely apathetic?

4. Because her attitude reeks.

8. I'm a prude in both locations. Where do I fall?

11. Thats a weird reason to lose friends.

14. That image is very popular for lesbian secrets.

16. Y-You hate Dumbledore!?

28. BEST FOURSOME EVER

#2 Unrequited love blows. It made him much more real than many of the other characters.

#7 That was my first OTP. I am embarrassed and happy at the same time to see that image again.

#19 Writing porn has always made me hornier than just reading it.

#30 I love you, too.

#23

[identity profile] ankhutenshi.livejournal.com 2007-10-31 01:36 am (UTC)(link)
We love your insecurity and second guessing, please keep stalking us while denying you want any involvement. ♥ It's so much more amusing for us to watch than if you came out and just said, "I'm still second best and I can't let it go."

9. THANK YOU! 100% agreed and signed.

11. Maybe they were friends worth losing if they were lost over you not wanting to play a GAME. Seriously!

21. I'll join you in restructuring the fandom! I got into it late myself and I'm not even done D:

30. LAWL! He was a freakin' awesome character though

i loved eclair. she's my favourite character in the series.

[identity profile] rpdichotomy.livejournal.com 2007-10-31 02:19 am (UTC)(link)
A friend linked me here for number 23 and normally I don't comment, but there's other stuff I want to comment on. Enjoy! ^_^

1. Same reason Sues don't bother me. There's enough canon ones out there that it seems kind of hypocritical to complain about ones in fandom. Contrary to popular belief, it is possible to have a well-written Mary Sue.

2. It made me cry, too.

7. Guilty here as well!

23. *Shrugs* It's over and done with. We can't please everyone, but I am curious why someone thinks it's doing so badly.

27. It's friendships like that that are the real reason I began to RP. :)

28. I would LOVE to see fic of that.

29. I SECOND THAT!!!

[identity profile] penguinfaery.livejournal.com 2007-10-31 06:24 pm (UTC)(link)
Contrary to popular belief, it is possible to have a well-written Mary Sue.

No, it's possible to have a well written original character. The TERM Mary Sue means it's badly written. It means something specific (and negative), too many people just apply it to any OC (particularly any female OC)

Late to the party, and I miss FFMQ and Great Mouse Detective secrets! :(

2. That's some nice art. Yeah, his unrequited love was kind of sad...

5. Could be because the end of Death Note was kind of hilarious. :p

6. That movie is freakin' awesome.

13. I thought I was the only one that liked FFMQ! ;___; That game had great boss music!

I love this series, but was afraid that the fandom would be insane so I never looked for one. Lilium is an amazing song and honestly the thing that really piqued my interest. I was extremely happy in the end, when Lucy is seen as something other than a psycho with powers.

Hey, maybe the fandom (non-crazy) will be revived.

[identity profile] sumairu.livejournal.com 2007-10-31 02:37 am (UTC)(link)
3. I liked Eclair. I mean, yeah sure she's an evil character, but I don't think I would ever hate her. I actually feel sympathetic for her. So don't worry, you're not the only person that likes Eclair.

(Anonymous) 2007-10-31 03:16 am (UTC)(link)
4. THAT IS A SNAPESNOGGER PICTURE, CORRECT?
WHY THE FUCK IS THERE A NOSE?

[identity profile] allismine.livejournal.com 2007-10-31 08:26 am (UTC)(link)
LMFAO

[identity profile] sir-hellsing.livejournal.com 2007-10-31 03:20 am (UTC)(link)
16. That? Was perfect to me. Frankly, I find Albus/Gellert a way more fascinating to explore than popular pairings like Sirius/Remus or Draco/Harry...

Re: 2

[identity profile] haro.livejournal.com 2007-10-31 03:47 am (UTC)(link)
IAWTC.

And I like Sirius/Remus, but Albus/Gellert has so much potential for some truly intriguing meta and fic.

3. I liked her! =D

[identity profile] cftf.livejournal.com 2007-10-31 03:22 am (UTC)(link)
Sorry, can't agree with this. What she did to Snape in DH... well, it was ok, but it was hardly the most moving part of the book, and the HP fandom has since made me hate it immeasurably.

[identity profile] vizioso.livejournal.com 2007-10-31 03:59 am (UTC)(link)
30. ... Can I steal that phrase?

6. Ohh mannn memoriessss
14. lol D:
16. hahahhaa awwwww
24. i want to see this movie!
30. OH GOD

22. I agree, I'm glad I left before it died. But I still miss it. Just a little. Mostly for all the people that I can no longer talk to or have my characters interact with.

Question. Did the Elena-mun last to the end?

Re: 22

(Anonymous) 2007-11-01 04:00 pm (UTC)(link)
Elena's Fail was possibly only second to Ayame's fail. I hope she lasted. For the irony of it.

[identity profile] madamemoiselle.livejournal.com 2007-10-31 05:24 am (UTC)(link)
#26: OH GOD ME TOO. But personally, it'd be pretty hot if they had a threesome. :9

21

[identity profile] vector-nyu.livejournal.com 2007-10-31 05:54 am (UTC)(link)
Elfen Lied had a HUGE impact on me right when I was getting back into fandoms (hence my username)--but I honestly can't say that I actually liked it. It was an intense emotional trip that changed the way I though/felt about a lot of things, but for the better, I think.
No other show has really affected me as a person like this one did, it's like my Catcher in the Rye of anime.
But I have no interest in the fandom side of it, and I recommend the series cautiously.
But I kinda wish that more people knew it--it would be nice to be able to discuss the series intellectually, it has so many layers and is an amazingly crafted plot. It really bothers me when people dismiss it as a skin and snuff show.

Re: 21

(Anonymous) 2007-10-31 10:54 pm (UTC)(link)
exactly!
The main reason I wish more people knew about it is because I have so many Elfen Lied discussion ideas but no one to disscus them with =/ It makes me sad.

2. This secret could've been written by me! One-sided SS/LE for the win.

And that picture is awesome.

[identity profile] pretentioustfu.livejournal.com 2007-10-31 07:46 am (UTC)(link)
guy on the right in 32: I'd so hit that. Bishounen for the win~

[identity profile] anima-mecanique.livejournal.com 2007-10-31 08:17 am (UTC)(link)
Secret 6 only goes further to prove that The Great Mouse Detective is the best goddamn Disney movie ever produced. It still blows my mind with its cracky awesome every time I see it.

Between that and Robin Hood I sometimes wonder how I managed to escape becoming a huge goddamn furry.

[identity profile] allismine.livejournal.com 2007-10-31 08:25 am (UTC)(link)
28. Needs moar Takashi from CCS. xDD

(Anonymous) 2007-10-31 08:37 am (UTC)(link)
3 - I liked her from the minute she took her opera glasses into the shower. A character can't be that odd without getting love from me. --Okay, seriously now, she was interesting. Calculating, but with a deeply idealistic, romantic side.

6 - I don't precisely ship it, but yeah, the movie did come off as bizarrely homoerotic. And also just bizarrely erotic, with the random song and dance in the bar. Disney, Disney, not with rodents. C'mooon.

21 - I've never seen this, but: You can say there's more to it than pointless killing and nudity, but the point is kinda undermined by the bloody naked woman on the image.

28 - Add also Byakuran and Mukuro from Katekyo Hitman Reborn!. Although I suspect Gin and Mukuro of somehow spawning Byakuran, lol fandom incest? idk.

31 - Truth. Same goes for memlu, while I'm showering love anonymously.
