but seriously, I do it too. (assume that people I meet in fandom are female unless proved otherwise, I mean.) not ashamed to admit it. since in most of my experience it's proved true anyway. =/ go figure. I think it depends on the fandom and the circles you move in, too, but I'm not a fandom expert or anything.

I've stalked that place since I found it in July. I know they had some kind of drama sorta recently which ended with a bunch of people leaving and starting their own rip-off roleplay. It's kind of obvious this secret was from one of them.

2. I never cared for Snape. I still don't really care for him. However, I did sort of feel a twinge of sympathy for him when his motivations were revealed. (I still think he's an utter inexcusable jackass, though.)

Also, I'm really glad that you think their love is unrequited! There are some people I've seen who believe that because of a) shared Patroni and b)them being best friends they are True Soulmates, and she never loved her husband (the man probably forced her to marry him!). I flail a lot at this because I am a hardcore James/Lily fan and believe they did truly love each other. Lily loved Snape as a friend only and ;alksdjf yeah, I needed to rant.

21. O-oh Elfen Lied. It took me a couple run-throughs to really fall in love with it (I kept getting annoyed any time Nyuu showed up which ... is 50% of the time |D), but it's honestly one of my favorite series. It's one of the few anime that I cry at every time I watch it. It's too bad it sounds like people don't give it a chance. :( It's really amazing.

Character flaws have become cliches to me. Oh look, this character can't think before he acts. That one hides her tender feelings behind huffiness and a short temper. That one over there pushes everyone away from him because he's afraid of betrayal. And so on and so forth. Pick any flaw, and chances are I feel like I've seen it a million times before. Flaws exist to make characters interesting, but the ones I see are so overused that they're not interesting anymore, just annoying.

If most characters were perfect, maybe I'd think perfection was annoyingly overdone and seek out the ones that had flaws. But right now, that one perfect character in a series is the breath of fresh air that it doesn't feel like they were trying too hard to make INTERESTING AND REALISTIC!!!1

I realize perfection is also a cliche, and to many fans the most annoying one, but I just feel differently. My feelings don't hold much logic, but that's why it's a secret. :)
