2) I will laugh until I piss if they make a third one.
3) I am still really fucking confused that shot is from the international version and the summary makes no sense. What is going on?
no subject
The summary is for Final Fantasy X-3 (blech tbh). There is nothing set for it officially, but there is some talk that it might happen if the demand for it is high enough. Just SE looking for new ways to rake in some cash, so nothing new for them.
no subject
I honestly don't see there being enough of a demand for it but maybe I'm wrong. True, SE looking for cash isn't new. Them not trying to do something interesting is also not new. All companies want money. It's just be nice if SE tried for something a large percentage of people wanted. (Though I will admit they sometimes strike gold.)
Thank you for explaining it to me anyway.

But this is my first time hearing about an X3, and I'm kind of horrified because imo the series left off at a great place and I don't want them to screw that up.

I hope the fact that the Japanese fanbase hates it means they won't continue with it now. I was fine with where it ended, too.

But...eh, maybe it'll be better than anyone expects. If they do go through with it; maybe the fanbase will change their mind, but I have my doubts. If they hate the idea of X-3 as much as you say then maybe it will.

Then I heard about what the novella was doing and threw up my hands. If it had been the radio drama without the novella, it may have been different, but the novella has gotten a lot of well-deserved flack for what sounds like gore and random, uncomfortable sex bits, and I'm not sure if games sales would be enough to make S-E feel encouraged without that. I hope they don't. The drama is automatically part of the re-release, so we'll have to wait and see.
I just want my XII HD re-release, honestly. I grew fond of it over the long, LONG XIII reign (it did well enough in Japan that they went with those, which is why the Japanese fanbase matters so much here) and that also rides on how well this re-release does.

Secret 6 - Final Fantasy X and X-2 HD Remaster (videogames) voice drama
"Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Remaster voice drama spoilers leak out, suggest sequel is inevitable
From what we know, Tidus and Yuna call off their relationship at some point as she sets off to defeat Sin again, who has somehow reappeared in the world of Spira. Written by scenario writer Kazushige Nojima, the voice drama takes place after the events of Final Fantasy X-2 and it along with the 2.5 novel attempt to expand the universe started by Final Fantasy X.
Re: Secret 6 - Final Fantasy X and X-2 HD Remaster (videogames) voice drama
·the video games are a part of the Final Fantasy X trilogy (Final Fantasy X, X-2, the HD Remastered versions for PS4 - which includes the international versions.)
·Rikku is indeed blonde and tanned! She is also a 17 year old (and is super lovely omg). In the screencap, she is in battle and the focus is on her because she had just changed into her Festival Goer dressphere (which is an International dreasphere for Final Fantasy X-2). Each dressphere has its own little scene for when either of the girls change into any of them.
...heh, sorry ^^; I LOVE talking about these games. I know them backwards and forward with my eyes closed and my hands tied behind my back. Favourite games right here! (although I am not here for this X-3 :/)
Re: Secret 6 - Final Fantasy X and X-2 HD Remaster (videogames) voice drama
(I have a question, though; if it's a trilogy, which is the third game? The one mentioned in the secret?)
Re: Secret 6 - Final Fantasy X and X-2 HD Remaster (videogames) voice drama
I kind of lumped the internatuonal versions in there, especially since X-2 has a Last Mission addition to it, so I guess that doesnt quite make up a trilogy ^^;

(Anonymous) 2014-01-05 01:25 am (UTC)(link)(Short version, if anyone cares: throughout the game almost every plotline, major and minor concludes with with the characters involved realizing that they need to let go of the past and get on with their lives. Yuna, on the other hand, outright admits (in a few of the chapter 5 area-closing quests most notably, I know it's a big part of how Luca and Macalaneia Woods end, and I think there was one other where it was a big focus) that she knows she needs to but isn't ready to yet. So to me her finally accepting that it's time to move on (as opposed to not getting a choice if you fail to do everything to get the good ending) is the most satisfying and thematically appropriate ending.)

(Anonymous) 2014-01-05 01:40 am (UTC)(link)I know S-E wouldn't be like Bioware in their attempts to respect canon choice--as much as Bioware is unpopular right now--but I kinda wish they would be.
