They're abusive, I'm aware of that, I ship anyway, in fandom I'm accepting of many things that would make me cringe in real life.

I had an abusive father, I've been to therapy, I know the patterns, the steps to the abuse 'dance'. And while there are many of their scenes which made me cringe I still ship them, even knowing that they put each other down all the time, and that if this was RL they'd get a divorce in ten years (that is if they didn't wise and did NOT get married), or worse, maybe a "War of The Roses" kind of ending.

But it's a book and I thought they were cute, and since it's fiction, fictional characters' issues are much easier to work out than real people issues, since characters do as writers want them to do. /tl;dr

I feel you so very much. The bunny suit freaked the heck out of me and even though I thought it was a great movie I couldn't rewatch it for the longest time. I finally did this Halloween cause I was in the mood, but with all the trick or treaters distracting me I didn't get scared.

4. OMG <3! BatB is my alltime favorite of the movies and I agree, Beast is much better as a beast, rather than human. XD; I got one of my friends to write a BatB AU fanfic for her NaNo that has Belle arriving there AFTER the curse has ended and goes from there. I don't know if I'd be able to RP it, but just know that at least I agree that I like that part of their relationship better than with human!Beast.

Naaaaah, Krycek's not evil -- chaotic neutral, maybe, since he's more "whatever gets me what I want" rather than just killing people for shits and giggles. But rogue fits, hells yes.

Byers would so be a paladin, possibly a cleric. Langly would be the spell-caster, probably twinked out as much as possible for items, skills and such. Frohike might be a bard - everyone underestimates them, but they have charisma to spare and can charm all the ladies. ;D

28. I wanted to like Misa, but--I don't know. I found it hard to stay interested in her when there were characters like L and Light running around and being awesome. I did feel very, very sorry for her, though. Poor girl just had to fall for Light, of all people.

At KHFFR, the rants are hardly ever directed towards a specific author or fic, just a generality of what the fic is about, the plotline or ideas.

Critique is a marvelous thing and can be used for good purposes. Not all of the rants are like that, but it's a rant community, a place to let off steam with people who are like-minded. If you don't like the rants, then don't subject yourself to the horror that your fic will be picked some day.

It's the ideas and execution of those ideas that normally get ranted about. I've corrected some of my own cliches by seeing other peoples opinions.
