Some ground rules:
1. Going anon is encouraged but not absolutely required (for those who struggle with recaptchas and stuff).
2. No autoplaying/autolooping embeds, or embeds that cover/stretch the screen.
3. No dropping personal info or IRL contact info, etc.

This community needs more posters like Chard, because a lot of people here need to be reminded that you can be female and nerdy and still have opinions that differ from the hive.

There are plenty of people like that here, anon. Chard isn't the fucking special snowflake that you're making her out to be. That sounds just as bad as the whole thing about "girl gamers" existing and that they're not the unicorns of the internet.

I have both a DW and an LJ account, but I prefer to stay anon, mostly just so I don't get backlash from some of my scathing opinions.

just a thought: maybe if more people with opinions that differ from the hive registered and had actual usernames, Chard wouldn't stand out as much!

I think I have different opinions from a lot of the "hive" but I don't feel like bothering half the time. I don't want to deal with several people all replying to me and grilling me on what I said and having to defend whatever my opinion is. I don't come to f!s for that kind of shit. Certainly don't want to deal with chard or noodly farting up my inbox.

Well, I'm not Chard's fan like the other anon but for some reason your comment is cracking me up with its seething undertone of envy and butthurt. You're all, "Why does she get all the attention? I'm here too!!! Sure, I don't ever log in or put any effort into making people notice me and my ~scathing~ opinions, but take note of my specialness, dammit!"
