this character and the ship that goes with it seem like they would be right up my alley but somehow i can't bring myself to care, because he was in like 10 minutes tops out of the 60+ minutes of the movie. hell, he's not even the main antagonist of the movie, pierce is. idek why the movie is named after bucky because it doesn't feel like it's his movie at all.

I keep seeing your last argument around, and it makes no sense to me. Were people upset that the title of the first Harry Potter was Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone? I mean, the Sorcerer's Stone is there for like...under ten pages?

It isn't about amount of time, or antagonists, or whatever. Bucky was... I don't know, the driving force of Steve's character arc, and so on.

He stole the movie in every scene he appeared in, so even though Pierce was ostensibly the main villain, it felt like the Soldier's film to me.

I came out of that movie with a lot of Steve related ships, hut I think Steve/Sam beats Steve/Bucky, for me. Still, it's super emotional and awesome. I'm glad that so many people are digging it.

Wishful thinking? It makes me so happy/sad to think of Cap listening to it on an old relic of a radio while he broods that he will never ever find his Bucky again. :( :) ;____; D: My feelings are very confused.

I am desperately waiting for Cap 3 so I can write fic. At this point it would just be odd, writing fic for a still brainwashed Bucky. I want crazy angsty PTSD fic!

I mean, I wrote fic after Cap 1 and before Cap 2, based partially on comic book canon because supposedly we weren't going to get the Winter Soldier. Then we did, and all my fic seems like cheating. ^^;
