Holy crap. I love you for posting a GBS secret.

I stay the hell away from pretty much all music fandoms, but I know what you mean about the banter! Saw them live for the first time back in March, and my friend was all but bouncing in her seat with impatience for them to get on with the music... but I could've listened to them josh with each other half the night.

Agreed! I've only been to two shows, but I loved the banter to bits. The best would be a nice, intimate kitchen party with them, no? Acoustic GBS tunes and endless Alan/Sean banter sounds like a perfect night to me.

8. XD Oh yes, Sims 2 fandom. There's a LOT to love about it, but there's a TON of wank, too.
Then again, one of the objectives you can have in the game is causing as much angst and drama as you possibly can, so it's almost to be expected. (I once made an entire house of Romance Sims! Now THAT is wank!)

21. I FELT AND STILL FEEL THE SAME WAY! I don't know if I would call him 'deep', but I don't think he deserves the hatred he gets. He's a funny character! If he didn't have an accent, would there be so much of a hullabaloo? I mean, the other gungans aren't as stupid as him, so I don't think the movie's saying "anyone with this sort of accent are idiots"...sigh.

40. I turned 21 this year. I am only not being weirded out by the fact that I am now Cloud's age by the fact that Aeris was 22.

I might be able to stave off insanity as long as I don't get older than the hot villains, I guess. After that, who knows?

And god why is Cecil so young? People bitch about the new heroes being too young... Cecil was so badass for his age that I forget it a lot of times, but sheesh. I thought he was way older.

3. I'm a Catholic. Born and raised. Well, less Catholic than generic Christian. And I know, I remember in catechism class, they held up that movie as a bad example, as something never to watch. LOL SIMS2. I love reading the technical threads on the More Awesome Than You forums, but the wank always makes me lol the most. All Paysites Must Be Destroyed was gold. I've admittedly never dipped into reading the stories people create or what wank might come with them, because the stories themselves are always so boring to me.

Yeah, I've never been able to get into sims stories, so I have no idea what goes on there.

But MATY internal wank is loltastic. I barely post, but I have to lurk Retardo Land every now and again for the entertainment value.

And I miss PMBD. It was grand, but I can't stomach the cat macros at this point.

LETTERS #1

OH MY GOD, YOU'RE AWESOME. ;0; There are still some people who've played the original Warcraft games out there! I never played the very first one, but I've been around Warcraft since Tides of Darkness and Beyond the Dark Portal, and I can't bring myself to go near WoW with a twenty-five-and-a-half foot pole.

It's not worth it to get WoW, only to keep it on my computer and keep paying for it, even if I don't feel like playing it for a long time. That was a plus of the older Warcraft games. If you got tired of playing them and needed room for something else, you could just delete it. Far as I'm aware, you can't do it on WoW without deleting a character you've worked so hard on and going through a bunch of bullshit in regards to the payments. MMORPGs like that aren't worth it, in general.

Yeah, uh, that's... totally wrong.

I haven't played for six months due to senior year of college not really affording me much playing time. so I delete the game, I cancelled my subscription. But they still have my character, and once I've got more free time again I can just reinstall and reactivate and bring Jayne(z) back to Azeroth just as I left him.

(Also been around since Tides of Darkness).

Maybe I just haven't played it enough or am totally unimaginative, but how does one even become a BNF in the Sims? How does the Sims even have a fandom? Is it like original fiction acted out by your original Sims? Or is a Sims BNF like, whoever creates the best WALL TEXTURE MODS or something?

I think the BNF are the ones who create the best mods for your sim.
I play it from time to time and there are some pretty good creators at modthesims2 and so I would consider them to be BNF if not awesome contributors.
