Um, if you haven't seen the show...

That guy is a superhero who can fly and his brother is a superhero who is kind of like a sponge in that he absorbs powers from everyone he meets. The brother met some guy who had radioactivity powers, and because it was unstable he was going to explode like a nuclear bomb. To stop him from blowing up the entire city, the guy took his brother way up into the sky and since his brother was, you know, radioactive, he got burned really bad.

So he's got a bad case of radiation poisoning and some wicked burns.

17. The end was about the only thing I enjoyed about that movie. It didn't redeem it for me, but I adored the music and I adore Ryan Reynolds and I adored how he did what he thought was right and fuck the rest and I adored how he didn't shoot himself because that would have just ruined it.

But yeah, hated the movie, loved the very end.

It's nice to know I'm not alone in loving that one scene, it was very powerful and it was excellent that he didn't shoot himself which is what I thought for sure he would do. When he didn't, it just made it more awesome for me. So, thanks for commenting!

17-I love that movie. I was surprised it didn't do as well as a lot of other movies of its type. It was shot beautifully and was really fun.

4 - Haha! You're awesome. I used to be a huge fan of the ABVH series a few years back. I would squee over new releases and chat about them constantly. I was a BNF in the fanfiction community in particular. However, I got really sick of LKH, Anita, and all the bullshit that comes along with both of them. I haven't read the last two releases. I sold all my ABVH books to a used bookstore. I've moved on to bigger and better things. And I, too, have lost respect for people who still adore the books, especially the ones that come after OB. I also feel sorry for her fans because their worlds are so boring that something like Anita and her men can entertain them to such a degree. How sad...

20. I often feel like I don't belong in fandom because I'm older and it's been a long time since I've set foot in a classroom. Everyone else is in college or university, and I finished that a long time ago.

Oh, and I'm assuming you're talking about RL fandom. It's really hard to make friends at all IRL once you're done school, let alone fandom ones.

31. I... I love you. I am absolutely in love the the B&tB story, the movie, and even that 90's show. Beatuy and Rose Daughter are books that I've read 10 times each, at least, and I still love to take them out now and again. I'm also writing my own version of the tale, albeit slowly.

31. Me too, I'm a diehard fan of the Beauty and Beast tale and all it's retellings. I've seen La Belle et la Bête, I've read Robin McKinley's retellings, Mercedes Lackey's Fire Rose, and more. It's an awesome tale. And I kind of like the versions where he stays a Beast too.
