Eh. I've no problem with bad fic. It's when the fandom is small and everyone's writing unrealistic fluff for your OTP that it can get frustrating. And lonely.

You're correct. I see my fair share of badfic but it's easier to x out and find something else than get all up in arms about it. (That's overreacting anyway and the author doesn't deserve it.)

Yes, your long awaited pairing became cannon nearly three years ago. Why focus 99.9% of the fic on them when there are other awesome pairings/possible pairings in and out of canon?

Snake only happened in 'Brawl' because Kojima practically begged Sakurai into including him. But that doesn't mean, say, Master Chief or Kratos is going to magically happen.

Your opinion on something in the fandom is just that: an opinion. It is all subjective. Stop acting like your interpretation of canon/your opinion on how good or bad something in canon is/etc. is objective. Can't we just all agree to disagree, maybe have a friendly debate, and the move on?

Also, there is no such thing as a non- "true" fan. We're all true fans.
