Sorry for the lateness!

Also, secret number one being number one was a complete coincidence. I do these things randomly! XD

24. YOU ARE NOT ALONE. Mine has something to do with Organization XIII members and Doctor Who. At the same time. XD

40.NAKURU. <333

Darn it, pressed send too soon. Anyways, 40 OP, I'm glad for you! :D

[identity profile] mint-eclair.livejournal.com 2007-11-30 02:11 am (UTC)(link)
COMPLETELY AGREED. I love his sarcasm way more than his looks, but I have to say it's an added benefit I'm not complaining about.

16 OP

(Anonymous) 2007-11-30 04:56 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, definitely. His sarcasm and narration are absolute WIN. Notice that all the screenshots of Kyon in the secret were of his shocked, "I-can't-believe-she-did-that" face of disapproving disbelief. ;)

[identity profile] pyrasaur.livejournal.com 2007-11-30 02:14 am (UTC)(link)
1) You're so not alone! Gant/Lana is delicious because it's horribly fucked up pretty much any way you slice it, I love writing the stuff.
39) Yer crazy. I like you, man, yer crazy. :B

15) ME TOO, WORD. ... Actually, most of that music there... I have on my playlist. o_o; OKAMI MUSIC FTW!!!

18) SOMEONE hasn't seen Day of the Black Sun...

39) .... May I have your children?

14. Agreed! Bitter elitists tick me off more than rabid fangirls. :/
15. Nothing wrong with video game music! I listen to it all the time. (Plus you like Banjo Kazooie. FTW!)
25. Gosh, that picture's adorable. :o What series is that from?
28. Aw, I remember these two. :o

(Anonymous) 2007-12-01 01:05 am (UTC)(link)
25 is from Yes! Pretty Cure 5

[identity profile] bad-luck-bird.livejournal.com 2007-11-30 02:21 am (UTC)(link)
38. Yeah... it did suck. It's like they tried to cram the entire freaking series into an hour and a half and picked the worst story to use as the base for it all. I think it would be an entertaining and fun show. But really, gee... portraying gay males in a positive way? Who wants to do that?

(Anonymous) 2007-11-30 03:19 am (UTC)(link)
since when has yaoi ever been concerned with any sort of positive portrayals of gay males or their relationships to each other?

that horrible feeling that i had when one of my friends went to see gazette when she didn't even like them has returned to me (yes i know that's diru).

gah, this is one of my peeves, lol

10: JACK SKELLINGTON?

31: Really? She's my kick-ass-piration.

[identity profile] rilani.livejournal.com 2007-11-30 02:37 am (UTC)(link)
3. Well, she was going to stop blushing at that eventually, but I can understand her taking it a little too far.

8. I consider myself a Star Wars fan, and I don't want to read the books.

15. Once a classmate listened to my mp3 player without permission. I can feel your pain on this one.

16. Kyon is sexy. <3 (Always preferred him a little over Itsuki, myself)

18. When it comes to ship wars, I like to believe in one thing: no pairing is "greater" than another pairing, no matter how canon or crazy they may be. Also, season three has been a little disappointing, imo.

27. WIN for Pani Poni Dash! <3

29. If "sporking" is the same with as MSTing, then I'm gonna be pissed.

not!secret: I prefer textless icons most of the time. They tend to have more emotion to them.

3.

(Anonymous) 2007-11-30 11:29 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, I know, and I'm glad she did. I'm not glad that she's pushing her characters' sex lives in my face and asking me for the details on mine when I told her my characters don't get into that. (Seriously, I'm not even getting into a discussion on how an OLDER version of my 11-year-old character has sex.)

Wow, I'm really glad I keep my yyh love to myself. And just like you say, just as fanbrats are going to be everywhere, elitist fans are going to be everywhere too. I don't really consider myself to be one, but there are times where I get really pissed off when fanbrats bash characters....(particularly a certain adorable red-haired oaf...)

You make me feel bad for being annoyed when it comes to fanbrats ><

But i know how it feels like to be surrounded by elitist fans, so i guess i'm somewhat good...

I remember that show, in fact I had the toys. How could you resist a flying car? Mobile Armored Strike Kommand. XD The cartoons were so awesome then. Transformers, GI Joe, M.A.S.K., Thundercats, SilverHawks.

They just don't make them like they used to.

13. YES. Random fonts of random are SO ANNOYING. Do it the way everyone else for it, you're not too good for the same font everyone else uses, and a lot of the time your fonts are ugly. My co-moderator spent an entire evening one time trying to fix out community's layout so that some idiot's font wouldn't make our front page ugly.

35. I believe that if you ship something, you are supposed to enjoy the dynamic of their relationship. If you can ship something without enjoying the way they interact? You're doing it wrong.

Also? "One of the most annoyingly dysfunctional relationships on television"? Uh, welcome to House, M.D., where that describes House and everyone. New here?

35

(Anonymous) 2007-11-30 03:22 am (UTC)(link)
so shipping because I like the way they look means I'm doing it wrong.

thanks for being the fandom police and telling me how I need to participate in fandom.

not!secret - (Ha the bottom left two are mine. XD)

I don't like text, because I suck at it. And seeing many people like them that way, I'm not changing my style anytime soon.

[identity profile] wao.livejournal.com 2007-11-30 02:51 am (UTC)(link)
15 - YES I KNOOOOOOOW

I only have a small smattering of stuff that isn't anime/manga-related (and most of it is from recs from online friends or AMVs etc) I just tell people... "I like Japanese pop music but I'm accepting of many things." Which is true, I like stuff from depressing techno to breezy Celtic tunes but the only stuff I've downloaded/bought so far are anime-related tunes. :S

[identity profile] pocket.livejournal.com 2007-11-30 02:54 am (UTC)(link)
8. I really hate that I never know how to shelve those things. :|
14. I agree.
25. Noo :[ coconuts 4evr
40. uuh.. what?

[identity profile] tatooine.livejournal.com 2007-11-30 04:22 am (UTC)(link)
I used to get irritated at bookstores not shelving them logically -- "baaaaaw give me my junkie fix stat," etc. Then I thought about reshelving them myself, and realized I'd only know where to shelve half of them, and even if I did know what all the books were, would they be sorted by author? By chronology? By publish date?

And I've never felt bitter about the jumbled shelving of Star Wars books ever since.

But it's the most amazing feeling ever someone you don't know very well - or even a friend you've not seen in ages - will identify one of your ridiculously obscure tracks with only a couple seconds of listening, and having no prior idea that that was what you normally play. Or any prompting to guess what it is.

My real life example:

Guy: Hey. I recognize this song.
Me: Huh? Oh, yeah, it's a remix of a song from a popular game--
Guy: No. I recognize this song. It's Adrenalyne Kick, right?
Me: ... ... ...marry me?
