23. 'MY POINT OF VIEW IS THE BEST EVER WAAAH'.

A) That Near fanart is so OOC it hurts.
B) Mello/Near is a hate!ship plus a rival!ship and that's more than enough for me to be interested in it.
C) Considering how little Matt was shown in the manga, most of his characterization is fan-based. Yeah, it's canon that Mello didn't mind him and that he didn't want him dead. Other than that, going by CANON... what?
D) Yeah, Mello and Near don't have a chemistry. THAT'S EXACTLY WHY IT'S GREAT. Because Mello is still obsessed with Near even if Near drives him crazy, and by what we get, Mello is one of the few people that Near sort of cares about in his very own weird, creepy way.

22: I don't bash or even hate Anette but I honestly still prefer Tarja. Anette has absolutely gorgeous vocals but really? My main reason for loving Nightwish so much was Tarja's unique vocals. If Anette was a solo singer or the singer for a different band I'd be okay with it, probably even be a big fan. I have a lot of trouble adjusting to change so that probably has a lot to do with it, but I just can't hear her voice and believe it's Nightwish. In that respect I kinda wished they'd changed the band name along with the singer... Call me a Tarja fanbrat if you will but I her voice is what made the band for me. *shrug* I don't bitch about it, though, I just continue to listen to their older albums. So. To all the fans who prefer Anette, more power to ya. ♥

22. I love the new Nightwish. Dark Passion Play was one of their best albums, in my opinion. I don't think either singer is better than the other, they're both awesome, and I don't see how real Nightwish fans couldn't like the new songs. :[ They're incredible, and both have amazing voices.

Well, I haven't like, looked for fic or anything, and to be fair, it's been years since I read the books. But when I was running through the list of old fandoms in my head, just thinking of those two made me feel warm in the way my other pairings do (I'm big into the "lifelong true love" type pairings). I'm also huge into pre-Stonewall queer romance, so that probably added to it.

22. HOMG NIGHTWISH SECRET; FUCKING WORD. I wasn't sure about Anette at all initially, but really, Nightwish wasn't JUST Tarja. Sure, she gave them a unique sound, but if there was a rift in the band, letting her go was for the best. I saw Nightwish live in November and I have to say, any doubts I may have had about Anette have been dispelled; she's amazing live. (Seriously, Nightwish is my obsession and my bandom.)

27. I'm still not sure if I like the song, (even after hearing it HOW many years?) but embarrassingly enough, I tend to sing along with it as well...

18 - Yes! First of all, the caption on the Kaiba pic is hilarious! But more important, there are certain characters that really should be used in crossovers: sometimes their original series doesn't do them justice, or they are just better explored in a different setting. That, and it's HOT: I've seen some interesting drabbles with Light and Fuji Syuusuke (PoT) and one excellent fic with Seto Kaiba and Lex Luthor (Smallville). I wish there were more crossovers between fandoms in general (note my crossover icon.)
