10. But... Boosh slash isn't random at all. There is a really sweet genuine affection between Noel and Julian with a definite undercurrent of "homosexyness" (as Russell Brand called it) that gets played out with their alter-egos on the show. They have frequently acknowledged this in interviews.

35) The first Digimon series was awesome. You couldn't have watched that show and not enjoyed Matt's emo wankfight with Tai while Metalgarurumon and Wargreymon dueled overhead in the epic battle we all dreamed of. Also, the gang going back to the Digiworld after saving Tokyo broke my heart back in the day. Final verdict: awesome.

I certainly have it on my computer and watch it every so often. Embrace your geekery and watch away!

I liked it while I was playing it, and you pretty much hit all the points about what was wrong and right with it (GACKT BEING IN IT IS A PLUS THO) but there was a LOT more that they could have done with it. I realized what I didn't like about DoC when I spent HOURS wandering around Edge looking for Seventh Heaven. I thought I'd found it and it ended up being some other pub. I think Vincent is a laughable character (and for that they stayed very true) and I even dig the part about Hojo's memories and the hilarious dialogue, so it was enjoyable, but there was so much more they could have done with a "FINAL FANTASY VII SEQUEL FOR THE PS2". :( That's my only REAL problem with Dirge. Otherwise, every asshole bitches about all of the Compilation, and no parts of it are safe. :V except from me because i'm a whore and love all of it

I thought bringing Gackt in was just all kinds of unnecessary, but meh. XD Yes, they definitely could have done a lot more with the game, it would have been nice to find Seventh Heaven. ;_; It WAS still a lot of fun, and there were nice things - I have fond memories of stalking around and fighting in an area near Kalm, which I knew to be in the Kalm area not because they told me but because I was fighting Kalm Fangs and Levrikons. It was a nice feeling. :D (Running around in Kalm itself was cool too.)

And yes, they really hit all the right notes with Vincent's character - he's angsty and tragic, but he's also FUNNY, and he does have a sense of humor. I died with joy that they kept the pointless cape-swishing in. XD

(Hojo uploading himself to the Internet will never not be funny.)

I, too, like the Compilation! I still love the original game most but THE COMPILATION IS OKAY, GUYS

42. The problem with DOC, for me, at least, was that the gameplay and all the new characters weren't interesting enough for me to go through the game. If a game fails on both those levels, I'm not going to go through it. It's still a game and I want to have fun. If not, I'll just go look up plot summaries and stuff. The only thing I liked about it was Reeve.

General: Is anyone ever grateful for/humbled/honored by their BNF status? This isn't a comment towards any secret or secrets, just a general observation. I know one BNF who wears the title in that fashion, and that's it.
