FFX-2 is my favorite game of all time. So sue me! I like hot chicks and awesome outfits and not having to care about six characters in my party and impromptu concerts and the battle system? Fuck I love the battle system.

I don't care if people think it's a travesty. It's fun. For me, anyway, I mean others don't have to like it and they're free to rag on it, but I certainly don't think they should look down on anyone for liking a video game.

See, my friend laughs at people who play games based on anything except how much fun they are.

FFVII as the epitome of something that looks (and chugs along) at a chunky, ugly pace but in execution is something everyone can like. (can, not will)

FFX2 also had a plot that made some fucking sense. Someone please explain the fighting aeons on a sword in Sin's brain from FFX please.

That goes for a lot of the secrets today and lately in general. It's "fandom secrets I'm too ashamed of to say without the cloak of anonymnity", not "fandom opinions I want to say in front a shitload of people"

3. I can't really explain it but it seems to be able to hold my attention better. Plus I still like the first three movies, no worries. Plus Obi-Wan's been one of my favorite characters even from seeing the originals so seeing him in his younger days makes it awesome for me. I guess I can tune out the bad acting in places.

34. Aww, you should give it a shot anyway! I started taking Japanese classes a little over a year ago, and if anything, I have more fun learning the language and using it than I do watching anime itself. (At least, I spend far more time learning it. It's a full-time job, if you really want to get fluent!)

I mean, your concerns are valid. I deal with assholes assuming I'm a "weeaboo" for taking Japanese classes, and every time I see fangirl Japanese, I die a little inside. But I love my Japanese studies, I love my sensei, and it's all been totally worth it.

Some people just don't find her appealing, what with the arrogance and bossiness and blackmailing and whatnot.

I mean, if you like her BECAUSE she's self-important and amoral and et cetera, et cetera, et cetera, fine. But some people don't like these things.
