34. Fuck what other people say. They don't have the drive to learn Japanese themselves, so all they do is put down people who want to learn it to make themselves feel superior. It pisses me off. I became interested in Japanese when I discovered J-rock and anime in high school 5 years ago, and now I'm minoring in it in college. Pursue what you like, and you know what, you're definitely not the only one, and you're not going to be a laughingstock. ^^

12) Huh? Are you talking about how the rivet closest to his sternum doesn't attach to the collarbone in the anime? I vaguely remember thinking, "Huh. Attaching the apparatus to the ribs doesn't seem like the best weight support mechanism in the world." In any case, I stand with you, fellow person who is peeved by small details!

16) I spy with my little eye a Kyon fangirl! From what I've gathered, most fics are Kyon/Haruhi, making your examples kinda silly. And the reason why there's mostly Kyon/Haruhi is because that is (for the time being) pretty damn canon. As to why there's simply not more variety in pairings, who the hell knows? For that matter, for how popular the series is, there seems to not be all that much fic for it.

6. I didn't hate the movie until a bunch of morons started quoting it and wearing "Vote for Pedro" t-shirts. I didn't like it much to begin with, but then having it thrown in my face for two years made me want to blow up the entire state of Idaho. I could've done it too; I'm not far away.

38. That's actually the reason I stopped watching Ouran. If you enjoy these typed of shows, you should watch Fushigi Yuugi. The only ones who don't fall for the main girl are the ones who are too old/too young for her or are related (EVEN THE GAY GUY DOES). Hm. I wish I was kidding.

2. That is the cutest live action pikachu ever. I want one.

3. Why? Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I fell in love with the original trilogy when they were re-released in theatres when I was little, and I wore out my VHS tapes. Sure, the new trilogy might have shinier special effects, but the acting is so wooden, and the script reaches new levels of ridiculous, even for Lucas. Maybe it's just cause I have a special place in my heart for the original trilogy.

26. Too bad, it's a great game. I still think OoT is the best, it's the Zelda game that I really fell in love with, after the old school super Nintendo one. TP is pretty dark and epic though, and lots of fun. I think they should redo OoT with TP graphics and release it again for the Wii. I would buy it and play it forever.

28. I'll continue to ship it. I don't force my ship on anyone. I don't need my ship to become canon to have fun shipping it.

3. I can't really explain it but it seems to be able to hold my attention better. Plus I still like the first three movies, no worries. Plus Obi-Wan's been one of my favorite characters even from seeing the originals so seeing him in his younger days makes it awesome for me. I guess I can tune out the bad acting in places.

I can't stand Koopalingcest, either, but they don't make it any easier by having no other characters that it's really acceptable to pair them up with. Sure, you can pair them with other Koopas, but that's kind of lame...and if you pair Wendy with Mario, or Toadstool with Ludwig, the fandom will be all over you for being a sick freak. I think the people who ship Koopalingcest just try to push the fact that they're siblings to the back of their minds. It must make it easier, or something.

I ship Roy and Luigi forever, though (in an almost purely platonic way, mind you), and I'll admit to that happily.

PS, those are adorable screencaps. I love the fact that Ludwig and Roy are in pretty much the same pose. XD

I feel exactly the same way - I switched from Japanese to Latin on an impulse in my first language class, and now I'm afraid to start taking it again because I've gotten back into anime/manga. I almost wish I'd taken Japanese first and then become a fan, but it doesn't really work like that, does it?

I LOVE JEKYLL TOO!! *__* He's my most favourite in that movie and I love that movie to bits too. Hell, I even got into a fanart-drawing spree right after watching it for the first time. Too bad I don't think I have them anymore...
