The Avengers 2 was great. Blurred Lines was a catchy, fun song (overplayed now). Game of Thrones is a fantastic show (never read the books).

I don't know what the super problematic things are this week so that is the best I got.

Kink memes.

Sometimes I´m in the mood for something raunchy and dirty and that´s the best place to find it.

Probably porn to be honest.

I also really love hip hop, even the really dirty stuff and the really sexist stuff.

Yeah, gotta agree with the porn.

Definitely the hip hop. I love me some good old 90s stuff, especially when it's really hot out.

I suppose that's it for me too. (Though I have a feeling anything and everything I like could be considered problematic to someone, so god knows what the real answer is.)

The Little Mermaid? I love a lot of Disney movies and have heard all kinds of criticisms but people really seem to have a problem with that one. Though I disagree with a lot of the complaints.

Most of the complaints of that one are crap. I do have more complaints about Snow White and Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty, although the latter is my favorite Disney movie and I enjoy the other two.

Narnia

I actually like when Tirian and Rilian are chivalrous to Jill, and how Caspian treats Lucy in Dawn Treader. I know it's sexist but I still really like it.

I like a few. Some of it dates back to when I was younger and less sensitive to this stuff, though that hasn't stopped me from hating The Dark Knight Returns like poison when at one time I loved it. ("TDKR is the best Batman comic ever" is code for "I don't read comic books.")

Ted Nugent's "Stranglehold" is one that pops out off the top of my head right away, though. The lyrics are horrifying, but fuck me that solo, nnngh.

Oh, I know -- Duke Nukem. It's really telling that Gearbox went out of their way to try and show how Duke wasn't a misogynist, just a hedonist in the DNF DLC.

Trigger warning, I suppose (although I feel like this thread basically has a blanket one)

I love rape fic. Not even ravishment style fic where they come to like it or even wanted it deep down. But dirty and disgusting gangrape fic filled with fear and resistance and trauma.

Pretty sure it's a toss up between Laurell K. Hamilton's stuff and Piers Anthony's stuff. They've both got so many things wrong going on in their works and I know all that and it still doesn't take away my enjoyment of them. They're awful. They're fun.

In fic (not in real life), I love relationships with big power imbalances and (adult) incest. I love dub-con situations.

Probably "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia".

I know it's meant to be "problematic", but, I mean, it's a show that for instance has used blackface on more than one occasion. But man, I find it so hilarious. One of my favourite shows.

Ode to Kirihito. It's all about how it feels to have your bodily integrity violated, so I really identify with it as a victim of chronic illness. But I feel like it massively overuses rape to make its point.

Monty Python and Faulty Towers. By today's standards they are so, so problematic but it doesn't stop me from loving them.

And depending on the fandom circle liking incest makes you a problematic piece of shit so that and older-guy/younger-girl ships as well.

Tintin comics (and also the '90s tv series, but it isn't quite as bad). Sometimes I read those comics and just go yikes... but there are so many things that I love about them anyway.

Also, Nelvana of the Northern Lights. Awesome idea for a superheroine! But the comics are very - dated. Very.

I don't think 'problematic' is really adequate, as a word, to describe Ezra Pound's whole... thing

I Love Lucy or Kill la Kill.

George R.R. Martin's books, probably.

Ah erm yaoi. Lol Especially those kinky, terrible non-consensual yaoi cliches. Ai no Kusabi and Viewfinder are my absolute favorites.
