What about seeing other characters besides the white ones? That people are complaining about black characters in contrast to other minorities speaks so much of them.

It was more the fact that everyone sits there and says blacks have it so fucking bad, but they forget about native americans, they forget about aboriginal australians, they forget about every other culture that 'white guys' have fucked up.

Because, like it or not, black people are still stereotyped, under-represented, etc. Even if they are more represented than other ethnicities.

They have to talk, honey. And they have to talk about them. It's just that there is still a awesome lack of other POC characters that doesn't have anything to do with black characters.

This thread is like every discussion I have ever had on race and white privilege and the assumption that because my skin color happens to be rather light, I am a) completely 100% TERRIBLY RACIST caucasian, and b) I must also have had a way easier life because I'm not black.
