27 - You know...I totally agree. I'm pretty sure the mangas will go that way, but all the same, it's hard watching them love from afar. XD

35 - While I 'shipped Ken/Miyako and Tai/Sora, Takeru/Hikari...--I FUCKING AGREE. I was SO surprised nothing happened between them and remembering being quite sad about it. Oh, Digimon S2, how you broke so many hearts...

48. For me there was TOO MUCH sugary crack for my tastes. :( I read the whole thing, but it just gave me a headache and made me want to go read something very srs bzns.

52. Well if it helps any, both my parents love the anime. And they're senior citizens. They wouldn't be able to handle reading tiny little manga format, but they're loving the story on tv. (My dad does a hilarious imitation of Ryuuk.) I doubt anyone would be making fun of them for liking it; if anything, younger people think they're kind of cool.

39. I agree completely. Light does some horrible things, but he's clinging to his idea of "the greater good". L tortures people (remember that part where the police are talking about how Misa hasn't had water in three days?) for the sake of his own curiosity. He says he wants to stop lawbreakers, but he breaks just as many laws. Really, L always scared the shit out of me. Give me Light's misguided idealism any day--L's too fucking cold.

I'm not spoiled for game four beyond the bitchery I've read here, but to be fair, no one plays Phoenix Wright for the game. Or at least not anyone in their right mind. They do it out of love for the characters, who are awesome and funny and damn interesting. One character got kidnapped in game 2, and I literally spent most of the case going, "MAYA WHERE ARE YOOOOU I MISS YOU." You get attached!
