__________ Rage
I was helping my mom with a computer problem and watching her made me want to pull my hair out. Every time she went to a new site, she would hit the back button until she got to Google, would search the website, and click on it from there. I've tried showing her how to do it the normal way but it won't stick. All I can do is scream inside my own head and hope to fix the problem as quickly as possible.

(Anonymous) 2015-10-07 11:58 pm (UTC)(link)I occasionally check up on reddit for some of the good subreddits and for discussion and support places. The other day on /r/aspergers there was some nutcase who kept remaking account to rant about his crazy desire to kill his mother and her family for giving him aspergers and generally trolling comm and worse, harassing and attacking the parents who come asking for questions about their autistic children.
He's hostile and goes around attacking people and insisting that his negative experience is the only right one and telling people to shut up if they say anything else. He's harassing scared, worried and upset parents who are already feeling bad enough. They don't need this jackass telling them they're awful people who subjected their children to a horrible life by having them.
I know that he's probably mentally ill or trolling and its no use replying. The admins of the comm are doing the best they can to take care of it. I know I shouldn't get involved, and its no use anyway. But it was really tempting to rip into him and tell him to fuck off.
(if he replied to me in something I probably would have. Because damn it if someone is saying that my little sisters shouldn't have been born because they MIGHT have what I have, I'd rip them a new one.)

(Anonymous) 2015-10-08 12:02 am (UTC)(link)Mine would be the customers at where I work. I usually encounter at least one of these five groups of people, if not more:
-The people who ask me to look up a book for them, but can't tell me the title OR author OR even what it's about sometimes. Thanks. That helps.
-The people that gripe at me if I have to ask for their ID. Of course, if I didn't ask, and we had some sort of card breach, then those same customers would bitch and be like, "Well, you guys should keep track of that stuff!" *Throws up hands*
-The people who get mad when I tell them they can't return something because it's past the date our return policy allows. I often have people asking me in that case, "Well, what am I supposed to do with this book now?" I dunno, give/sell it to someone else? Have a garage sale and put it out? That's a problem that's kind of out of my hands.
-The parents who don't pay a whit of attention to their kids and let them run around the store and move things around and toss stuff, or parents. No, yeah, I'll totally babysit your kids. Not like I already have a job to do or anything.
-The people who feel the need to spout their personal political views at me (which I often strongly disagree with to boot), and say them in a way that assumes I'll naturally agree.
But of course, I have to be as polite as possible when bringing all this stuff up with the customers, or, especially in the case of the political views, just not say anything at all. Just gotta hold my tongue and save my eye-rolling and ranting for when they're not around.

Basically, my dad is a horrible driver who hates it and it makes him mad every time. And I want to yell back at him, but that never helped anything.

Then there was the faculty consultant who filled up the end of the day with oversharing. And he's entirely right, but I can't really say anything without opening a big can of worms about my department.
